What kind of Shampoo/Conditioner should i get that will help my damaged hair?

I need to find a shampoo and conditioner that will help me with my hair problem. My hair gets tangled easily, and it is very think, and becomes frizzy easy also. What type of shampoo should i use? I have used head and shoulders, boilage, Aussie, and a cheap kind i got from Save a lot. None of them have worked for my hair, and im tired of the frizziness, and i dont like to use hair spray or gel, just natural. Any suggestions? ThanksWhat kind of Shampoo/Conditioner should i get that will help my damaged hair?
Suave professional with conditioner, it makes your hair smooth and silkyWhat kind of Shampoo/Conditioner should i get that will help my damaged hair?
you should use products from Bed Head products they work magic!! trust me, i had unhealth, dry, frizzie, nasty looking hair and those shampoos really work =] they are expensive but they are great, you can find them at CVS %26amp; target ($24.99 for each) and other stores but sometimes you can find them at Marshalls for less than 1/2 the price ($12.99)..they are so amazing, get the shampoo w/ the matching conditioner and leave the conditioner on for about 10min... you would see results in a month.. and they make ur hair smell yummy =]
Dove intense damage control is the best shampoo I think.

You don't even need the conditioner to see great results!

I would go with that 'cause it made my hair all nice and smooth!

What is the best shampoo/conditioner out there?

What are your top 3 brands? I am looking for a nice quality product %26amp; need some help. What is the best shampoo/conditioner out there?
If your hair is thick and wavy or frizzy, buy Biolage Smoothing Shampoo/Conditioner to weight it down and moisturize. If your hair is thin, fine and lifeless, try Matrix Amplify Sham/Cond, which gives volume. What is the best shampoo/conditioner out there?
I have two AMAZING conditioners by Aussie. 1.knot forgotten

2.3-minute miracle

for shampoo I like aussie moisterizing shampoo.
Garnier Frutis! I love it!!
I have 2 that I absolutely love.

One is the Aveda Sap Moss line. It's fantastically moisturizing and nourishing. If you don't like ';earthy'; scents, you may not like this line....but I LOVE it. Unique to this line, is that the moisture actually comes from the Shampoo. You wash it in...get a good lather, leave it on for about 10 minutes while you shower. The conditioner also adds moisture but it's main job is to detangle. You only have to leave that one for a couple of minutes.

I also love Nexxus Therappe Shampoo and Humectress Conditioner.
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate-free so it won't dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!!!

I recommend any shampoo %26amp; conditioner by Kerastase. I work at an upscale salon %26amp; once you use their products, nothing else compares. A lot of celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, Madonna, etc. use Kerastase. Only downside is shampoo runs about $30 %26amp; conditioner around $50. They are both very concentrated %26amp; the containers last about 4 mos. or so.
GRUND shampoo and conditioner products. they are AMAZING!!!!!!!! i use TIGER MASQUE conditioner. it makes my hair look like i just stepped out of a salon. you should try it and i promise you that you'll choose no other products out there. just look it up online. and you won't regret it.
i personally love sunsilk and claroil.they r the best.

What shampoo/conditioner is the best in repairing damaged, crazy split-ended hair?

I just want my hair to look bad anymore! What shampoo/conditioner is the best in repairing damaged, crazy split-ended hair?
biosilk is so good but expensive. DON';T use pantene. It has wax in it and will make your hair look good now, but in the long run, it will become weak and brittle. What shampoo/conditioner is the best in repairing damaged, crazy split-ended hair?
sally's Ion products works well as a deep conditioner
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article鈥?/a>
i used to work in a hair salon and i flat iron and bleach my hair so i have tried most of the products to help with this and my favorite has always been sleek look by matrix, it makes it feel and look great, even when i got others for free i bought mine
Cut the split ends out, and use Biolage repairing conditioning balm. It's sold at beauty salons, and is excellent.
I would use a treatment first....Sallys Beauty Supply 1 dollar and up, I personally like olive oil ones, also get a trim. And I agree Panteen is good, but if you have the money Matrix is better.
I use L'Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair, its really good!
I don't know about you but my hair works best with Aussie. If you want to repair your hair, don't put as many products in it. Your hair will loose its natrual nutrients.
split ends can not be repair, your going to have to clip them off and keep your hair moisturize to minimize future breakage
Well if your problem is with split ends, then you can't solve that by a Shampoo, you will need to get a trim. I have been using Yes! To Carrots. I love it. It is almost completely organic. My hair is soft, shiny, easy to fix and smells good. It keeps my hair clean for longer than most kinds. They sell it at Target and Walgreens.
GET BURT'S BEES HAIR REPAIR SHEA %26amp; GRAPEFRUIT DEEP CONDITIONER!!!!!! it works REALLY well:)
Dove, for dry and split ends.

I have thin blonde hair and Pantene dries out my hair, but Dove does wonders. :)
Pro-V by Pantine.

What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use to have sleek, shiny, silky hair?

I have straight, dyed blonde, fine hair. I want to know what the best shampoo/conditioner would be to get that frizz-free, silky straight style I want? What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use to have sleek, shiny, silky hair?
paul Mitchell...What is the best shampoo/conditioner to use to have sleek, shiny, silky hair?
Matrix ';Sleek Looks'; its an orange bottle found at most salons that carry Matrix products. I've been using it for 2yr now and love it. Please whatever you decide to go w/ don't use pantene or herbal Essenes. The long term damage from the alcohol in it is terrifying to your hairdresser !!!!!!
redken and redken conditioner
Trauma!!
you just described my hair, I use Tressume. It is amazing. I now have poker straight hair. And it is amazing....
i have tried paul mitchell and dumb blonde. and i like the kind i bought now for only 5 a bottle it is infusiom 23 and it works cause i have dry brittle hair where a stylist overprocessed my hair and with that it keeps it looking good
I have the same hair as you .I preffere the back to the basics rasberry almond shampoo and conditioner or the back to the basics pomagranit peach. My hair is always soft .
actually there is a product that i use on my hair because my hair can get frizzy too. I use a spray called ';special effects extreme shine'; it adds shine, ';repairs frowziness and split ends'; it works like a charm!!
I reccomend Redken Fifth Avenue.

Garunteed, over these pharmacy brand shampoos. Salon quality, look into it, I garuntee you will not be dissappointed.
I highly recommend Connie Stevens's Forever Spring 'Silk Lustre Shampoo and Conditioner' you can find it at foreverspring.com. You will want to buy this stuff by the gallons after you try it!
My girlfriend uses Herbal Essences' ';Dangerously Straight'; and her hair is incredibly sleek, shiny and silky. It comes in a purple/pink bottle. Look for the bottle that says ';Honey Pear Silk.'; Believe me her hair always looks silky and beautiful.
I have the same time of hair as you do and i use herbal essences for dry, damaged, coloured or permed hair and it works great and smells wonderful. :)
Either Sunsilk or Timotei for blonde's.
To get the frizz out of your hair...wash, then try enough conditioner in your hair to dangle it and then towel dry it. Place some conditioner in the palm of your hand, like hand cream and put it though the ends of your hair. It will not matter what shampoo/ conditioner you use...it is how you make it work for you. Plus, try to wash it every other day, too. Let your hair build back up the natural oils it should have in it. Washing everyday can be extra hard on hair that has been dyed, especially blond and fine hair, that is a bleach chemical on it. Give it a try, I think you will be surprised how nice and soft and manageable it will turn out. Don't be afraid of a second day style without washing it, it will be more maintainable the second day around and save you time, too. A quick hot curler here and there or a quick blow dryer with a round brush for a pick me up.
i use pantene for many years and iam getting good hair all the time.
I recommend John Frieda products for blonde hair. They are great for colored hair. He makes shampoo, conditioner, mousse and a great instant silkener called Dream Creme. They are especially made for Blonde hair, they brighten up your hair and show off your highlights. I love it, you will too.
INFUSIUM 23, IS THE BEST FOR ME, I DYE MY HAIR ALOT AND IT KEEPS IT SO MOISTURIZED. IT COSTS ABOUT 6.99 A BOTTLE FOR THE SHAMPOO AND THE CONDITIONER, I SUGGEST USING BOTH, YOU WILL SEE A BIG CHANGE IN YOUR HAIR
Pantene.
pantene
I totally recommend Sunsilk, they do the trick for those annoying kinks in your hair, the purple one sounds best suited for you.

For extra 'sleekness', if you use straighteners, Loreal Hot Studio Straightening Cream is good too, and keeps it in good condition as well. Hope it works!
i like thermasilk shampoo %26amp;conditioner. It is heat activated to improve dry, fine, or dyed hair.If your hair craves moisture ,the protein is locked in when heat styling.
ok i am serious about this. go get a bottle of TAIL AND MANE shampoo. it is for horses but its the best shampoo in the world for humans.call a pharmacy like wal mart and ask.you will be suprised at how healthy and shiny your hair will become.
pro v works pretty good
i think herbal essences is the best! esp the citrus energy: the red one... it's rly good!
I love Satinique shampoos and conditioners i get it at

What is a good shampoo & conditioner for my hair?

I don't want to take the time to dry it or anything (about to have a baby), but Pantene leaves it looking all frizzy. I want it to all lay together; not look like 30 million individual frazzled hairs. I have a lot of hair, but I guess it's considered ';fine.';What is a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner for my hair?
No shampoo or conditioner. You need a perm. What is a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner for my hair?
Aveda is a really good choice. It really works and it has a really good smell. Try their Brilliant collection and Smooth Infusion Style Prep Smoother .

Redken also works really really well. Their Smooth Down collection, Real Control or Extreme collection.
try garnier fructis shampoo and conditioner, that or any of the herbal essences. Also Finesse is a really good one to use on dry or frizzy hair. If none of these work, I would reccomend an anti-frizz serum. hope this helps. (:
I love the shampoo called SAMY. Its a bit pricey. $5.99 for a 12 oz.

What is the best shampoo & conditioner to prevent hair loss?

Does it matter what kind of hair you have? I have long black hair, Im 20What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner to prevent hair loss?
A gentle, natural shampoo would be best. And don't forget about your scalp. Make sure you move it around every day to get the blood flowing. When we have stress, our scalp can get tight and choke the hair follicles. Hair grows as a result of friction so be gentle but give your head a good rub too. Wash your hair every day to remove stress hormones that might make hair want to fall out.

Unless by black hair you mean African American hair. If so then please ignore the part about washing it every day. What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner to prevent hair loss?
I have had good luck with Wildroor creme oil. You can get it at Walgreens. About once a week I wet my hair down, work in a generous amount of Wildroot then comb it into a slicked back style. I keep it in all day or overnight then shampoo with two latherings. My scalp is in great condtion and my hair loss is less.
Nioxin was recommended to me by hair dresser when I was experiencing some hair loss due to stress
''shampoo de chile';. you could buy this at a mexican store.

What shampoo/conditioner actually works to repair damaged hair?

I have like dead ends and its really damaged... !

i am using moisture renewal from pantene but i see no results?

or should i stick to it?

    what do you use?

or what can i do to renew it !?

[tips]What shampoo/conditioner actually works to repair damaged hair?
    Don't use pantene. Please.

It contains things that are NOT good for your hair.

I use Tresemme Thermal Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner and it works wonders!

Be sure to use a heat protectant on hair before you use a heat styling product and get your ends trimmed every two months or so.What shampoo/conditioner actually works to repair damaged hair?
Try usling shampoos without sulfate- and don't wash your hair daily. The oils that form around your hair helps protect it/keep it moisturized, and helps speed up the renewal process.

Shampoos without sulfate are usually found in salons, Biolage, Paul Mitchell, and Tigi S factor are all great, sulfate free shampoos. Yes, they are a bit on the pricey side but if you use good shampoo/conditioner, you need less, so it works out to be pretty much the same.

If you're looking for a cheap and quick fix, grab yourself a bottle of Aussie 3 minute miracle (it can be found in drugstores for about 4 dollars). Just wash your hair the first thing you get in the shower, and apply i tthroughout your hair and leave i t in while you continue with your hsower, and the steam will help infuse your hair with the conditioner, then rinse it off at the end. Use this twice a week for the first weeeek, then once a week thereafter to help renew moisture in your hair.

Also, get regular trims, and try to not use too many heat/chemical things in your hair at one time.

    Good luck!
    pantene is good

but i just switched to the rip off brand pantene and it works BETTER than pantene. i think its by equate?

idk you'll have that sometimes..where the rip off is better than the actual. its weird.

    OK

but you should wash your hair, thoroughly rinse, put conditioner in and leave it in to wash your body or whatever in the shower, then rinse that out really, really good.

another things is to towel dry your hair. as you are rubbing your hair with the TOL, it makes you hair softer. i dont exactly know why, but it does. avoid gel and moose. they dry hair out MORE. some styling milk/conditioner if you have frizzys or whatnot. it doesnt have to be anything expensive either. and lastly, if you trim your hair once a month to get rid of split ends and it will make your hair healthier. Take Vitamins too!! :D Be Healthy!! From the Inside Out! Hope I help :)
trim off(trims once a month help stop dead or split ends)herbal essences or garnier also try oils(almond olive all work quite nice )try moistriving shampoos and conditioners(not pantene it works horribly it gave my tangles hair and so many dead and split ends it was just moistrived)o.O
Give your hair a weekly olive oil treatment. Slather your hair with olive oil, put on a hot towel (right out of the dryer) and wait 20-30 mins before shampooing out. You might want to do this wearing a towel so your clothes don't get oil spots.
U should have it trimmed, (cut the dead ends).. and use tresseme's deep conditioner, or try going to the salon and asking them for a hot treatment for hair! It will help a lot.. Good luck
    garniea ugh i cant spell!!

What is the best shampoo/conditioner you have ever used?

My hair is medium brown (not dyed) and it gets greasy easily. But your favourite shampoo doesn't have to be something for greasy hair, just tell me what has worked best for you :D

    thanks

    Seriously Mane and Tail.

You can get it at the large animal vets and some retail stores carry it.

garnier fuctis , or however it is spelt... get the strength and repair kind, it REALLY WORKS. I have very sensitive hair and I could ever find a good shampoo and conditioner that helped to repair the damage done to my hair. But when i got this kind i was amazed at how well it works. I used to take a shower and when I ran my fingers though my hair a clump would come out.... now it never does.... It started to work just after a week of use! you shouldnt use herbel essense, its said that it has stuff in it that damages the hair even more.

Mane 'N Tail and the reason why it does what the bottle says it suppose to do. My hair has plenty of shine, body and bounce and not dry and my hair grew even faster.
I use fruitus conditioner for the top of my hair,,,and I buy Pantene sachet for the bottom of my hair as it deep conditions it where it is needed most.....and its a cheap way to.......
    Nexus it smells so good!
Depends on how much you want to spend. I like anything paul mitchell and supermarket finds I love tressemee (cant spell it)....they work fantastic and they dont test on animals!!!! Always look on the back of the bottle!!!
Bumble and Bumble.....because its the best. I personally use the thickening formula, but they have a variety of choices. The seaweed is good, its light and not over drying so you may want to try that, but a salon can really recommend the best one for you. You can only buy it at approved salons.

For my dry scalp I used Nutrogena T/Sal twice a week until it cleared up (along with a moisturizing conditioner). Once that issue was dealt with I started searching for something for my crazy hair issues. I have really long really thick curly frizzy hair. I've tried a million products out there, but they all have nothing on Wen. It's a cleansing conditioner so it does what a shampoo would also. It's a natural product so it's very easy on the hair and you'll notice a difference every day you'll use it. By about a month of using your hair will be amazing! I don't even have to use hair spray and what not any more =)
    Ways to stop damaged hair

    1. Have a well balanced diet that includes lots of vegetables and fruits

Try and stop eating junk food and foods that are high in sugar

    2. Before washing your hair comb it so you can have less knots, this will prevent hair tears and minimize balding.

3.be sure to sleep with dry hair, when you go to bed with wet hair you tear at the hair and your baldness hair will get broken because you actually stress and damage it when you toss and turn in bed

    4. Drink a lot of water!

Stop using shampoos and chemical hair products-use Mira hair oil to clean the muck left by such products

Another method to stop damaged hair is oil therapy and a good scalp massage,.

    The best product for hair growth, stopping damaged hair and beautiful hair is Mira hair oil;

    This is the site

You might want to fix your dry scalp by taking only certain kinds-

Mane %26amp; Tail Horse Shampoo works wonders :)

What is a good shampoo/conditioner to use for damaged hair that breaks a lot?

Anyone have any recommendations? What is a good shampoo/conditioner to use for damaged hair that breaks a lot?
first, diet has a lot to do with the health of your hair, so try taking vitamins and eating healthy, i.e. fruit, veggies, and protein. Healthy fats like olive oil can add the needed oils to your hair if it is too dry. Use olive oil when cooking, but also you may want to give yourself an oil treatment directly on y our hair. Set a small bottle of olive oil in a sink full of hot water to heat the oil , just so it is warm to the touch; pour oil into your hands and massage into your scalp, working down and thoroughly working into the ends of your hair; leave this in for ten minutes or so, then shampoo. You may need to shampoo twice to get the oil out. I use Pantene pro V hydrating curls 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner, and it works well for me. Also, you might try a leave in condioner, like infusium, or pantene, after you are done.

If your hair has severe damage, trim as much of the damaged hair off as possible. Split ends will continue splitting up the hair shaft and damaging the hair. To trim the shorter hairs, take a strand of hair and twist it all the way down, so that little shorter hairs are poking out of the strand. Trim these little short hairs sticking out. And of course, trim the ends too.

I hope his helps. What is a good shampoo/conditioner to use for damaged hair that breaks a lot?
Okay I had the same problem..Ive tried every shampoo/conditioner under the sun, from cheap to salon stuff. Not to mention im a cosmetologist.. and the only ones that work for me are infusium 23 for dry/color treated hair and I SWEAR by hello hydration by herbal essence it makes your hair SOOOOO soft and healthy..i LOVE IT!!
either aussie or VO5...both do wonders for damaged hair
I recommend getting a haircut, and oo, i just got this pantene pro-v smooth and sleek, it's in the green lable bottle, I love it. Even the shampoo feels like you're rinsing out conditioner. Nice.
I would go to a salon and get what's called a ';power dose';, I think it's by redken-- but you can't buy it on the shelves. You get it once a month and it strenghtens and shines your hair up completely. It's great!!
I always find Pantene effective for damaged hair - adds great moisture to my hair and makes it feel great too.!
Please don't use anything from the supermarket shelves. They don't work and just make the problem worse.

Go to a good hair salon and ask one of the hairdressers. The salon brands are so much more effective.
dove always works for me. if your not into that, try pantene.
i recomend pantene pro-V coz i had damaged hair like yours and it really worked!!
I like Redken Clear Moisture. It fixed my hair the last time it was damaged. Redken also maks an anti-snap formula that works great, it's like a leave-in treatment.
i'm black and i use the original pantene pro v, (not for colored hair). it works wonders for me.
drink more water. And I like Outrageous or Aussie shampoo/conditioners
you need to put some protein back into your hair, biolage fortifying shampoo and conditioner. also be very careful when its wet. don't brush , comb and don't tye it up, and easy off chemical services and heat, after you use the shampoo for a week you can introduce heat and chemical services back slowwwwwwwwwly!!! good luck
i use dove therapy =D i love dove shampoos, deoderants, lotions, everything! =)
Loreal has a line called Elseve, it's really good for breakage hair. It can reduce 95% of breakage! I would recommend its hair treatment!
Try Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy (FAST) shampoo and conditioner. It provides all the essential ingredients to promote strong, healthy hair growth.
wow, why does your hair break so much? You should have it cut and look into a healthier diet. Conditioner can only do so much.
Hi, i use Mane N Tail shampoo and Conditioners. It has worked great for me. I've used a variety of shampoo's and conditioners and this has worked the best for my by far.

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections in different scents for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Walgreens, CVS, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

    .
pantene becous it leves a real good smell in my hair i always get comments about how good my hair smells now.
You can only buy it at approved salons.

what are the best for frizzy really dry unruly hair my hair is straight not curly!!! please only choose out of Tigi and Redken please for your answers also state why? What is the best salon brand when it comes to shampoo+ conditioner?
    definately redken.

any major stylist will tell you.

the all-soft shampoo is very popular-leaves hair soft and easy to comb out, and safe for color treated hair. the conditioner contains avocado oil, which moisturizers above and beyond what you might expect.

i use extreme every once in a while-when my hair starts feeling really dry, and this product is tops for replacing some of the lost proteins with new protein making the hair look and feel so much better-but the trick is to use the shampoo and conditioner together.

i use other products also but i won't talk about them since you wanted to hear about tigi or redken. What is the best salon brand when it comes to shampoo+ conditioner?
for me i use garnier fructis..it has a great smell to it and plus you can pick from there shampoos+conditioner..if u have frizzy hair, curly hair.straight hair, long hair...etc..oh also dry hair.....hope it works
redkin is the bomb find it at your salon
Tigi, didn't you already ask this question?
I like Redken, it has a better conditioner and slection.
    I prefer Pantene

Is it okay to wash my hair with my regular shampoo/conditioner after coloring?

I'm dying my hair right now. My fiance is taking me out to dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday, and he loves to run his fingers through my hair and the smell of the shampoo I use is a serious aphrodisiac for him (and I'm hoping to get lucky tonight). The conditioner packet that comes with my dye smells awful, though. Is it okay to use my regular shampoo and conditioner instead? It's designed for color-treated hair anyway. Is it okay to wash my hair with my regular shampoo/conditioner after coloring?
Yeah that's totally okay. You'd eventually have to anyways. People usually throw out that packet of conditioner. Is it okay to wash my hair with my regular shampoo/conditioner after coloring?
Tinkerbell... My grown daughters favorite fairy, as she has it on her license plate on her pink jeep. Yes it will be okay. Remember though even though it is made for dyed hair, the more you shampoo it and condition it, the duller it will become. Your hair will only take what conditioner it needs, the rest will just go down the drain with the price you paid for your product. You can shampoo everyday, but condition it two, or three times a week. Unless you just like spending money for no reason. Good Luck! Steve
    Yes, you can .

    Try Pantene: Colour Revival.

that's what I use and my colour has been fine. .

    Hope this helped... :\

What kind of shampoo & conditioner should i use for my highlights?

My hair is really dry from highlighting my hair ]: does any one know a good shampoo and conditioner? What kind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner should i use for my highlights?
get some for dry hair rather than color treated hair..its basically the same thing anyway. i use matrix and joico products...they are both excellent for dry hairWhat kind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner should i use for my highlights?
shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair
get a leave in conditioner.. like garnier fuctis three minute hair therapy..
You've got beautiful, color-full hair and you want to keep it that way. The Color Revival shampoo and conditioner system enhances your hair's natural beauty and leaves hair strong against damage caused by daily styling. And its Pro-vitamin formula helps fight split ends and breakage, helping to protect your color-treated hair while controlling frizz. Used together, this shampoo and conditioner system:

~Makes hair shiny for radiant color, bringing color-treated hair to life

~Helps add moisture and helps keep your color-treated hair looking radiant

    ~Cleanses gently

~Helps protect for a freshly-colored look, leaving hair strong against damage

~Makes hair shiny for radiant color that brings your color-treated hair to life
If you only have highlights I would recommend a moisture shampoo and conditioner. When they highlighted you hair they removed the natural moisture from your hair leaving it dry. I would use a professional line as it has more of the moisturizing agents in it, with out coating it.

In your opinion, what do you think is the best ?What is the best brand of shampoo/conditioner to use ?
    pantene pro-v.

or herbal essences. What is the best brand of shampoo/conditioner to use ?
depends on what you are trying to achieve. more volume, more shine and also it depends on what kind of hair you have... like if it's color treated.

I saw this commercial the other day about ';wen';. I heard the product is fabulous.
even if you don't have dandruff, head and shoulders is the best. i use it and it makes your hair shiny, managable, soft, and it smells great!
$.99 sauve conditioner and shampoo. cheap and if you use it right works just as well as expensive ones.
marc anthony organics, even though its a little spendy and hard to find, it smells so so so good
    I really like herbal essence's
pantene or herbal essences (but not the bubble gum kind...i think it's horrible)
Pantene causes build up in some cases.

    I like Herbal Essences.
I LOVE Aussie Clense and Mend. Its really great.

How fast does Head and Shoulders shampoo/conditioner work?

The past times I've been blow drying and straightening my hair I'm getting dandruff on my shirt and all over my counter!! These flakes are disgusting me now I can't take it. If I use head and shoulders next time I was my hair will I have flakes after? How long until I won't have dandruff? Thank you!How fast does Head and Shoulders shampoo/conditioner work?
You should probably keep using it repeadidly. And when your shampooing let it sit on your scalp for 3 minutes. How fast does Head and Shoulders shampoo/conditioner work?
I actually get a really dry scalp in the winter. I use head and shoulders about once a week in place of my normal shampoo and it keeps dandruff at bay, Luckily I have blonde hair so it's not noticable but it does tend to bother me because my head itchs. When I first started using it, it took me about 2 shampoo's to see a change. It does work though and I do recommend it!
they work very fast and they make your hair smooth and shiny and make it look great you wont have flakes or dandruff after use and i think you should try it to see if it gives you good results right so you would not have any problems in the future ok.
I would give the results one to two weeks to be visible, your scalp has been damaged and the head and shoulders will try to fix.
It depends on how much dandruff you have i have a lot i don't like it but yeah i have to deal with it!

it will take about 1 week to 2 weeks!
It will work within a couple of days.

    Guaranteed.

I swear by the stuff and you can use it every day.
If you want something that really works, use Neutragena T Gel shampoo.
For me it never worked. SELSUM BLUE.
    most likely a week
for me it taked bout a week

What would be the best drugstore shampoo/conditioner for curly hair?

I know that pantene is bad for your hair, but I don't know what shampoo and conditioner I should get. I've heard that herbal essences is really good, and I think John Freida has a curly hair line at target, but I don't know which is the best. Feel free to suggest other drugstore products other than the two mentioned :)What would be the best drugstore shampoo/conditioner for curly hair?
John Frieda Frizz Ease is awesome and so is Herbal Essences Totally Twisted.

How many times should i use shampoo & conditioner in a week?

i have black, short hair, yes it is thick. ya.. and idk when 2 use shampoo alone, conditioner alone, or both 2gether?How many times should i use shampoo %26amp; conditioner in a week?
Many people believe that they must use a shampoo and a conditioner every day to keep their hair healthy and manageable. Normally, however, this is not the case. Conditioning once a week works very well for most people unless your hair is damaged either by harsh hair products or as the result of an illness.

If you use a ';two in one'; product, a combination shampoo and conditioner, you should use a normal cleansing shampoo at least once a week to prevent a build-up of chemicals on your hair.

Daily shampooing will normally not harm your hair but professionals recommend washing your hair on alternate days as the optimum routine. Some also suggest switching or alternating shampoos to avoid build up.How many times should i use shampoo %26amp; conditioner in a week?
see it depends on many factors such as your age, thickness ,type so i may suggest you what is correct to do.Firstly search for a hairclinic nearby your house secondly visit and check your hair they will advice you very corectly

    hope you succeed buddy
I do shampoo then conditioner. It my hair is really bad I shampoo twice. I do this 7 times every 2 weeks. So every other day
put shampoo fist, then wash ur hair and upply conditioner. after, wash ur hair again. u have to use shampoo 3 times a week
i use them every day i actually found the best hair conditioner for me is white vinegar about an ounce of it it makes my hair very soft also good for dandruff
    Um, both everyday?
Depends on the hair type. Oily, every other day; dry, no more than twice a week. It will vary.
    together, twice a week
    every day:]]

is the herbal essences volumising shampoo/conditioner any good? What is the best volumising shampoo/conditioner for fine hair?
The herbal essences voluming stuff made my scalp really itch and burn... so i wouldnt go for that.

Dove Intense Damage Control helps repair your hair

    Good luck!
I know it sounds gross, but I've hear horse shampoo works.
I swear by coconut oil, It softens the hair and conditions the scalp. Using the coconut oil as a prewash conditioner can rid a person of dandruff better than a medicated shampoo.

Coconut oil, a natural ingredient in the highest, has always been recognized for its quality of strengthening the structure of damaged, devitalized hair.

Coconut oil lubricates and softens the hair shaft through the action of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, and iron. Coconut oil can do for your skin as it can do for your hair. It is wonderful to use. Try it, I know you will like it. Look it up!!!
Not sure about the actual growth rate, but Nioxin is about the best thing you can get for you hair. It'll help your hair grow a bit thicker, keep it cleaner, and make it healthier. It does take time to work (a couple of months), but it has been used to help chemo patients regrow their hair. It's not going to work like Rogain, but it's better for you. Available at better salons.
Once theyre singed, theyre dead. However, massaging hair while shampooing and gently tugging the ends while theyre wet will help increase growth. Also, Garnier Fructis makes a type of shampoo/conditioner called Long and Strong. I sugguest cutting off the signed ends, theres no use for them.
Lavender oil has been shown to increase hair growth so massage the oil once a week and soak for 30 minutes before washing. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c鈥?/a> for more details.
You cannot restore burnt/singed hair. Your hair itself is ';dead'; and non repairable, the only part of the hair that is alive is the root its self.

That being said, you will have to trim your hair to make it match.

Taking vitamins will help your hair grow healthier, though probably not faster. You can also buy Fructis Long %26amp; Strong shampoo and conditioner to help your hair become stronger as it grows out and resist further damage.

And stay away from live flames!

My hair is thick and naturally wavy and curly in come places. I use heat products almost everyday. (Blow dryer, flat iron) I'm currently using Sauve BioBasics for normal to dry hair.

I really want my hair to be really soft and less poofy. Should I switch my shampoo and conditioner? What do you recommend? What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?
I have always been one to use salon products... since I was laid off I'm not financially able to purchase a $15.00 bottle of shampoo.. so I've tried different things. I have to say I love the Pantene Beautiful Lengths for growth.. but the Got2B Smooth Operator stuff is really good too. I purchased mine at Walgreens on sale buy one get one free... I was able to get two products for $6.00. It smells pretty good too. What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?
Use any shampoo or conditioner that is for straight hair. It should help smooth out your curls/waves. Then follow it up with a serum for straight hair once you towel dry it, and then blow dry it straight. Hopefully this will lessen the need for the flat iron, which is really damaging for hair.

I recommend products by Bed Head for your needs. They have a wide range of products for every type of hair.
    for smooth and sleek hair:

pantene nature fusion smooth vitality. (works wonders)

    or pantene beautiful lengths.

    also these might work:

    herbal essences hello hydration

    herbal essences long term relationship

to make your hair less poofy and softer i would recommend that you get a leave in conditioner and a smoothing serum
You should try Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner. I have curly hair, and I also straighten my hair(or used to anyway), and so my hair has gotten dry and broken, and these 3 healthy fatty oils are like food for hair, they need it!
lol my hair is thick too and its curly :D really curly but lee stafford shampoo works AMAZINGLY !!!!! I like the conditioner too :D the best shampoo and conditioner i have ever used.

What is a good shampoo/conditioner for dry, color treated hair?

I dont want any sort of shampoo you can buy from a retail store (ie: pantene, suave, aussie, etc.). I'm looking for a good salon shampoo. I've tried Paul Mitchell and hated it.

Any suggestions? My hair is extremely dry and it has been colored in the past.

Thanks! What is a good shampoo/conditioner for dry, color treated hair?
Some of my suggestions would be to try:

Redken 'Color Extend' for a reasonable price.

Also, Redken makes a deep conditioner called 'Extreme' which comes in a blue bottle and that is an excellent product.

Matrix 'Amplify Color XL' is another great product (I'm a Matrix fan, there hair color is excellent as well).

Now if you're willing to spend some money and get what I believe to be the best products around, I would suggest visiting a salon that carries Kerastase products. You will want to go for the 'Reflection' line which are fuscia colored bottles (this is the color treated line), they also carry different deep conditioning and reconstructing products that are safe on color treated hair.

Kerastase is a L'Oreal product, lots of L'Oreal products that you can find at your local conveniant store are also a cheaper version of a great product.

Hope this helps some. Good Luck %26amp; let me know if you need help! What is a good shampoo/conditioner for dry, color treated hair?
Joico and KMS are great products.....Nexus also has a great line for moisture
Helena Mays ';Color Comfort Revitalizer';. Excellent stuff, and not expensive (and beats the crap out of any Paul Mitchell).
John Master's Honey and Hibiscus Hair Reconstructer.

If you can't find it at your salon, then go to johnmasters.com or saffronrouge.com, and look at their hair conditioners.

    :-D
Sallys beauty store has this wonderful product called ION. They also have styling products.
I like Fructis, as well. I know you said you didn't want retail store brands, but what's the point of paying three times as much? I've been coloring my hair for 10 years without fail. Fructis/Nutrisse has been the best I've used--and I've used the expensive salon stuff. And, no, I don't work for the company! :-)
INFUSIUM!!!! omg its amazing, its completely changed my hair! i color constantly and Infusium 23's 'repair-ology' fixes the damage almost instantly. nothing else Ive used has worked so well to condition and repair my hair, and Ive tried ALL those high end products! it works great as a mask too, just leave it in for 3 or 4 minutes after you shampoo and your hair will be deeply conditioned. Its only like 5 or 6 dollors to and you can get it any where , not just in salons, but they have it there to. And the smell!!! it beats the crap out of Paul Mitchell! lol

Hope you try it, it works great for me! good luck tho, hair is frustrating some times!
    fructis

    What is the best,inexpensive damage-repairing shampoo+conditioner?

My hair is partly colored and I straighten it every day,so I need something that works very well for damaged hair.We also aren't rich and can't spend the money that salon products and above average shampoos and conditioners cost.So what is a normal or cheap one that works very well? Thanks! What is the best, inexpensive damage-repairing shampoo+conditioner?
try an herbal essences conditioner and shampoo, i use it and i dye my hair and straighten it as well. But what i do i use the Hello Hidration one and then i buy a deep conditioner that i use around once a week or so, it all depends on how damaged my hair is but with the products it helps my dull and damaged hair go away alot faster!!!What is the best, inexpensive damage-repairing shampoo+conditioner?
Pantene? But just snip off the split ends nothing can repair them

What is the best shampoo/conditioner to make hair smooth and silky?

My hair is a bit damaged so it's not as smooth and silky as my roots. What shampoo/conditioner is best to get very smooth hair? What is the best shampoo/conditioner to make hair smooth and silky?
Mush 8 strawberrys and mix with 1 tablespoon of mayonaise. Massage onto hair. Put shower cap over it, and then a warm towel, leave on for 1/2 hour. Then wash out.

~Gives healthy looking hair, shininess, and will give it a rich gloss~

Apply oils to your hair (Olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil.) Put a shower cap and leave on over night. When its morning, Shampoo and condition out.

~ Makes hair finer, which makes it smoother, softer, and silkier.~

Use a Natural Boar Bristle Brush. This brush takes the natural oils from your hair, and smoothes it out to your hair.

~Gives the hair a shiny and softer look and feel~

Rinse hair w/ cold water instead of warm.

~ Closes the cuticle of your hair and gives instant shine~

Deep condition your hair once a week (I like Garnier Fructis 3 min. conditioner)

~Hydrates dry hair, and gives it a healthy look.~

Lightly beat 2 eggs w/ a little bit of milk, massage into hair, and leave in for 5 min. Then shampoo and condition it out.

~ Gives softness and silkyness instantly!~

Conditioning after shampooing softens the cuticle of your hair.

~Making hair finer, for softer hair~What is the best shampoo/conditioner to make hair smooth and silky?
I use pantene smooth and sleek shampoo and conditioner followed by pantene smoothing balm. It works for me.

Have a good look round the drug store or supermarket, they stock a wide range and I am sure you will find something to suit
your best shampoo and conditioner is ether pro-v sun silk or dove i use sun silk more often and i get a nice shine.
    I use Pantene

It makes my hair nice and shiney

Its also less damaging than most shampoos
use deep conditioner, the cheapest shampoo %26amp; conditioner, and the best to me is V05, try it.
I use Suave and I think the conditioner makes my hair smooth. I straighten my hair everyday but my hair's not fried and damaged from the straightener. Actually it might not have anything to do with the shampoo and conditioner, it might just be how my hair is.
garnier fructis sleek and smooth is awsome!

What is the best shampoo/conditioner for hair that is dry as hell?

Something that will make it shiny and manageable and silky smooth. Ive tried a bunch and i cant find anything good yetWhat is the best shampoo/conditioner for hair that is dry as hell?
Could you list what you've tried??

You want gentle shampoos (Creamy not clear)

Because shampoo is for getting oil and dirt out of your hair the gentle one won't strip your hair dry.

In Moisturizing the conditioner is key.

The best shampoos and conditioners that I have used are Biolage,Bio silk .

Try Therappe Shampoo and Humectress Conditioner by Nexxus. You can buy them in salons, but most larger drugstore chains like Walgreens and CVS also carry Nexxus products. They work great and smell terrific!
Pantene, silky smooth or the moisturiser.

    Herbal Essence is good.

Dry stuff the Head and Shoulders are good in like a week or something.

LOL: put moisturiser in your hair (hey, it might work).
I like Biolage Hydratherapie shampoo %26amp; conditioner. http://www.biolage.com/products/biolage/鈥?/a>
Herbal Essence Hello Hydration or Dove

You also should try using a conditioner a few days a week.
hands down, Lanza healing moisture hair care. It is amazing. I used both when my hair was super dry, then a serum protector before i blow dried and straightened, and after a while it makes your hair sooo soft and smooth and silky....now i just use the conditiner cuz it's expensive and i like the brilliant brunette shampoos, plus my hair isnt that dry anymore, but look into that line. It's expensive but it works very well. some of the shampoo's dont contain sulfate, which is the cleaning agent in most shampoos and strips hair of it's natural oils and colour, and some shampoo's have too much of the bad stuff.
Use paul mitchell moisterizing shampoo and conditiner. Its a little expensive but it will totally hydrate your hair and make it sleek, smooth, and smell really good! Good luck!
    im a HUGE redken user

but..if you're on a budget tryLoreal Vive for medium to long hair thats damaged. it comes in a light pink bottle and you can get it at almost any drug store
    Believe it or not--

    John Frieda.

My hair has never been so silky, smooth, hydrated, and healthy in so long. I am so glad I tried the brand out!

(My hair is permed, too! So it can be wild, dry, and frizzy. As long as I use Frieda, I'm good though.)

Get it at any department store, or even Wal-Mart.

Depending on your budget, the best drug store product in my opinion is pantene. It does wonders for dry hair. I have noticed however, that after long term use, it can begin to make your hair greasy, so use it until you are pleased with the results then take a break and use another brand. You can always go back again if it starts to dry out.

If you can afford a salon product, go for Aveda. The difference it makes is unreal. I honestly didn't think there was that much of a difference between drug store stuff and salon stuff until I had the opportunity to use Aveda long term. It will solve the dryness, split ends and add volume. Awesome stuff!!

    Good luck!
    nexxus shampoo

I have shoulder length hair, and I want to know what is the best for growing your hair. (I want it to be at least where your heart is. Thanks! What is the best shampoo/conditioner for growing hair?
You cant spead the process of hair growth. You can only wait.Your hair grows 1/2 '; a month.

But you can use good brand names to keep your hair healthy so it can grow healthier,

    like :

    Pantene Beautiful Lengths

    Tresemme Anti Breakage

    Garnier Fructis Length and strength

    John Friedas Root Awakening

    ETC !!!

Ive tried all and there great...What is the best shampoo/conditioner for growing hair?
Im using doo gro shampoo at the moment and I can see a slow improvement in hair growth. I don't care for the conditioner too much as it makes my hair soooo greasy. Also Garnier has one called long and strong which comes with a conditioner too. I've heard good things about it so you might want to give one of them a try. If you live in America then they sell the doo gro stuff in walmart ad walgreens i think. ?But idk I live in UK so what do I know haha

What is a good shampoo & conditioner for REALLY dry hair?

I have my hair highlighted or the roots touched up about every 5-6 weeks. My hair is really dry and I wear some layers in it that look dry and kind of frizzy even when I use the straightening iron on it. Any shampoo/conditioner, or any other treatment suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I have been using Redken Extreme products that haven't helped much. What is a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner for REALLY dry hair?
The best treatment for very dry hair is a shampoo and conditioner that HYDRATES . Any good to pricey brand should do the trick ... and stay away from hair dryers ... that defetes the purpose. What is a good shampoo %26amp; conditioner for REALLY dry hair?
try sunsilk product. i like them. they have a shampoo and conditioner for every single kind of hair problem.
I have thick curly hair and I absaloutley love Bedheads Moisture Maniac shampoo and conditioner. It really leaves my hair feeling soft and less frizzy too. Its a little pricey but worth the money.
o, the best brand has to be FRUCTIS or PANTENE. i use both, i swith coff every now and then and it gets you hair reallllly soft and healthy.
I have highlights too and I would totally recommend the Matrix line. You can get it at any nicer kind of salon. It's really amazing how it moisturizes your hair so good. The price isn't so bad either but if your looking to get something on the lower end of the $$ then I would reccommend Pantene Pro V for Dry hair. Then sometimes you can leave the conditioner in your hair and don't even rinse it out because it will leave your hair really nice and soft.
Use Dove Extra moisturizing shampoo and conditioner..its awesome
There are a lot of those in the market. I think you can find some decent ones in the drugstores as well. Garnier Fructis and SunSilk are great.
sunsilk ( the pink bottle )
I love this shampoo and it helps me to regain healthy hair, but it's a bit pricey, it's from the brand called L'occitane (French Brand), details information is here: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio鈥?/a>

Still, I couldn't find a really good conditioner, but I recommend adding a deep hair treatment to your hair once per week, it helps a lot!

What shampoo/ conditioner is the best for me?

I'm looking for a shampoo and a conditioner that is best for me. I need something that can be used for everyday use and something that is not too expensive. I have curly/ wavy hair that is layered and sometimes it gets frizzy and dry. I also want something that makes my hair smell pleasant as well. I have been using Treseme because it's supposively used by professionals, but lastnight I heared otherwise. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you. What shampoo/ conditioner is the best for me?
loreal and garnier might be good and they have different shampoo for different hair typesWhat shampoo/ conditioner is the best for me?
I'm a guy, but I have really long naturally curly hair myself and have found that I have to be very careful what I buy or it dries out my hair and makes it very difficult to get out the tangles.

Curly hair requires the use of lower protein shampoos, so you want to avoid Pantene and other shampoos with placenta derivatives, they will dry out your hair.

I have had really good luck with Infusium 23 dry hair formulas in both the shampoo and conditioner. In addition, a small amount of Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam keeps the frizzies in check....or you can use Frizz-ease serum....I prefer the Sculpting Foam. It makes your hair shiney too, I get compliments all the time. Throw away your blow dryer and allow more time for your hair to dry naturally....blow dryers are the enemy of curly hair.

Personally, I would not care whether I heard something was used by professionals or not, if it works it works. I have also been advised not to get curly hair layered, it makes it ';poofy';.

    try dove its great
I like Herbal Essence (or even the store brand version of it) I never buy expensive brands. I heard that all the supposed ';natural ingredients'; that they use to advertise their product just get washed down the drain and don't stay in your hair long enough to do anything anyway. Try finding something that won't dry your hair when you wash it. Try not to blow dry it all the time. Also, when you do blowdry, try to find a product to put on your hair to protect it from the heat. I like using Garnier leave-in condition or Biosilk silk therapy before blowdrying. Hope this helps.
    i am using palmolive naturals...

so far, my hair is ok...

it would really depend if your hair would love it or not...

consult a dermatologist to be sure...
try head and shoulders..omg have u heard of sunsilk..they have a special kind of shampoo for any type of hair
Well if Treseme works on your hair I would keep using it and ignore what everyone else says. Sometimes you just have to go with what you think and not what other people say. Be your own person.
You could use Herbal Essences. They have shampoo and conditioner for all types of hair, plus it smells great! Whatever works best for you!
okay i have wavy-ish dirty blonde hair. because my hair is wavy it is very frizzy and very thick. The best shampoo is Suave professionals and there is a brand for blondes, brunettes and red heads. It not only makes your hair soft and volumous (not too big though) it gives your hair a gorgeous color. I used to use John Freida but I deceided to try this because John Freida is expensive and I would say that Suave is just as good or better than John Freida.

I like Dove products. They are gentle and wash out thoroughly. After I wash and condition with Dove, I use a leave-in conditioner called BioSilk -- I get it at the salon. It's ';kinda'; expensive, but a $21 bottle lasts me a whole year, and I have past shoulder length hair.

I like Aussie Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I also use a spray in product that I got from Sally's beauty supply. It is for use with a straightening iron. I would try putting a spray in product like that if you straighten your hair.
    Mayonnaise? Yuck!

Avalon Organics shampoo is great for thickening thin hair, moisturizing dry hair damaged hair, and repairing because there is beta gloucan , and babassu oil in it.

After you rinse shampoo and conditioner with warm water, run your hair under cold water, gently blot your wet hair with a towel, don't rub and/or squeeze because you'll break your hair. Don't brush wet hair because you'll break it.

You can find it in grocery stores, such as A%26amp;P and also at Shoppers Drug Mart.

If you do go to Shoppers Drug Mart don't ask any cosmaticians who work at the cosmatics section for tips because most of them will agressively force you to buy the most expensive items just to get all your money for their commission.

If the cosmatics sales _itch is approahes you and asks you for help say no thank you bluntly and avoid her.

If she keeps following you, keep walking away.

If she keeps being following you, then leave the store.
First, go to a salon, get a deep conditioning treatment, it's usually about $10-$15. Then ask the stylist which products he/she recommends, as we can't tell you much without seeing and feeling your hair. And remember, always remember!!!!!! Don't apply ANY heat to your hair unless you have some product in it to protect it! Sebastian Potion #9 is my personal favorite, leaves your hair SO silky and soift. Good luck!
thermasilk leaves your hair smelling great and really silky, I use ';blue water'; you could get it at any Sally's store you put on before you straighten or curl your hair so the heat wount damage it and it keeps your hair looking great and its only like $4 bucks! :)

How do I rinse out all the shampoo/conditioner in my hair?

I'm currently studying abroad in Italy and the water pressure in our shower is a little weak. Unfortunately, it does not get out all the shampoo and conditioner. I tried using less, tried not using conditioner and tried not using anything, but nothing seems to work. Any tips? Thanks! How do I rinse out all the shampoo/conditioner in my hair?
Is the shower in the tub? If there is a tub faucet, turn on the water there and still your head under it. The pressure is usually stronger. You can also use the bathroom sink as an alternative, if you can get your head under the faucet. Also, if you have a plastic pitcher, you can fill it up under the shower head and pour from it.

Good luck! How do I rinse out all the shampoo/conditioner in my hair?
rinse longer and make sure you're using your hands to get it out (as opposed to just relying on the water pressure to do it)
See if the pressure is better through the bathtub faucet and hold your head under it. Or maybe wash your hair in a sink.
    Um, Ask an Italian person?

What's a good shampoo/conditioner for long hair a little oily at the top and rather dry at the ends?

I am looking for an affordable, cruelty-free shampoo and conditioner that will take care of the dry ends and the oily roots of my hair. Any advice? What's a good shampoo/conditioner for long hair a little oily at the top and rather dry at the ends?
When you wash you hair concentrate shampoo at the roots the rest of you hair will be cleaned as you rinse the shampoo off.

Then when you apply conditioner don't apply it at the roots but just on the dry areas. What's a good shampoo/conditioner for long hair a little oily at the top and rather dry at the ends?
Use any shampoo and conditioner that you can afford. Just use a clarifying shampoo every week and for normal hair every day. First, apply conditioner starting from the tip and lesser as you go upwards to the roots of your hair. Regularly brush your hair to properly distribute natural oil all over your hair.

Usually your situation happens to me, so always have keep a leave on conditioner (Pantene smells great!) or a polish serum from Citre Shine to remove fly aways. Or if you can't find any of these around your regular lotion can help too. Apply it like a regular leave-on conditioner.
Lemon/citrus is good for oily hair.

Try washing your hair in a lemon shampoo and finishing off with conditioner (coconut/almond or anything nutty) applied to the ends only.
i don't have an answer sorry! but i have the same problem as you and i have to wash my hair every day which makes it worse so if you find out please email me and let me no
    pantene
bed head by tigi to a large range of sham;poos and conditioners, they are quite expensive but are very good! they can only be brought in salons and a hair stylist can advise you on the best one! the one from that range i advise is one called self absorbed the shampoo is light and will not dry out your ends, its not at all greasy so it will help improve your oily roots! and make sure you just apply the conditioner to the ends none on the roots!
sunsilk it will leave ur hair soft and silky
    wella shampoo %26amp; conditioner
try klorane they have lots of different shampoos and conditioners to suit all types of hair and they're really good

Try MOP products, they are sold on the QVC website. They are top quality and last for ages. I would never use the high street brands as full of chemicals. MOP is also an organic range.

Also Aveda is another range, bit pricey but hair is your crowning glory after all so worth every penny in my book.

(i stopped because i chopped my hair)

What is the best shampoo & conditioner for achieving a straight and smooth look?

I currently use Garnier Fructis - but am open to new brands! What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for achieving a straight and smooth look?
Shampoos and conditioners can not achieve straight hair by themselves.

I don't know what your hair is like naturally so I'll tell you what I do for my clients.

Clients with straight hair that just want a nice smooth look.

Apply a leave-in conditioner and a thermal protectant and blowdry with a boar brittle round brush, rolling the brush inwards as you pull down.

Clients with curly hair that want it straight.

Apply a leave-in conditioner and rough blowdry. When the moisture is out apply a thermal protectant and carefully flat-iron until you achieve your desired results. What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for achieving a straight and smooth look?

Try Herbal Essence - None of your frizziness.

Tresemme is also a very good shampoo/conditioner.

There are also many hair straightning shampoos.

Try this. You can blowdry your hair straight!

I guess you can also just use a hair straightner. What shampoo%26amp;conditioner, technique, creme, etc, can I use on my hair to stop making it wavy after a shower?
Use moisturizing shampoo and moisturizing conditioner when you shower. You can also use a moisturizing treatment that you put in your hair for a few minutes and rinse it out. While your hair is wet, put a little mousse or gel in your hair, and use a round brush when you dry your hair. Curl your hair inward with the round brush while you are drying it. This will get your hair to be straight, and shiny. You can also use a straightening iron if you don't have time to shower and dry your hair. This site has some cute hairstyles if you want some more ideas: http://www.perfectkarmabeauty.com/hairst鈥?/a>
My hair is like that too! To keep it from getting really frizzy and poofy i got this stuff from sephora and it's called living proof wave shaping cream for medium to thick hair. It works so good it makes my waves shiny and pretty!

What is the best shampoo/conditioner for crazy, frizzy hair?

My hair is sooooo frizzy! It's kind of wavy and sometimes can be a little on the curly side. Any suggestions???What is the best shampoo/conditioner for crazy, frizzy hair?
I would suggest any pantene pro-v product!

I find that their beautiful lengths products are wonderful for my crazy curls and frizz. It helps tame it a lot.

Also, try washing it every other day or every 2 days ( if you don't already) and conditioning it every single day. This helps restore moisture in your hair.

    Hope this helps!

    Shampoo, Conditioner..??

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>

This is what I am referring to.. (link)

So I need to buy shampoo %26amp; conditiner and I want to know which one makes your hair soft and silky. I have tried:

    - Ice shine by Pantene

    - Vive Color Care ( I recently got my hair highlighted)

    - Head %26amp; Shoulders

    - Other Pantene S%26amp;C

    - Tons more

None of them worked.. please help me out! I am going to Wal-mart soon and I need to know which shampoo and conditioner will help my hair become silky soft and smooth along with styling. My hair right now is naturally straight, slightly corse, and kind-off dull.

    Thank you!!!!! :';)Shampoo, Conditioner..??
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get organix at Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Safeway and select Wal-Mart. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

    http://www.organixhair.com/Shampoo, Conditioner..??
Organix sells for $6.99. It's carried at the stores on the website, but only some of the Wal-Mart locations. The Organix Vanilla Silk is for ';Soft %26amp; Silky'; hair, so I would recommend that one, but also the Coconut Milk which is absolutely awesome! They are ALL great! You'll love it! Report Abuse

Ok, thanks! That is pretty cheap, if it is that good. What about in Calgary Wal-marts? Do they carry it there? Report Abuse

    I like Tresemme`

I have really long, thick, frizzy hair. And I found it makes my hair the softest and easiest to brush. Plus it smells really good.
Use a clarifying shampoo, like the Neutrogena Anti-residue. That will get rid of the dullness. All those products leave LOTS of build up. THen use something light, like Dove extra body shamp/ conditioner, or another line that you like for extra body. That's what you need right now.
    garnier works
How about checking out some of the Herbal Essences products. It leaves the hair feeling soft and doesn't leave any residue behind like some other shampoo/conditioners I can think of at the moment. Plus, it's cheap!
John Frieda Shampoo and Conditioner!! Then use his hair serum. This makes your hair really soft, shiny, and silky. Then if you want use a straightner.
i use ojon its a expensive hair care prouduct but well worth it.here is a link to the site where it sell the cheapest.
