I'm dying my hair right now. My fiance is taking me out to dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday, and he loves to run his fingers through my hair and the smell of the shampoo I use is a serious aphrodisiac for him (and I'm hoping to get lucky tonight). The conditioner packet that comes with my dye smells awful, though. Is it okay to use my regular shampoo and conditioner instead? It's designed for color-treated hair anyway.Is it okay to wash my hair with my regular shampoo/conditioner after coloring?

Tinkerbell... My grown daughters favorite fairy, as she has it on her license plate on her pink jeep. Yes it will be okay. Remember though even though it is made for dyed hair, the more you shampoo it and condition it, the duller it will become. Your hair will only take what conditioner it needs, the rest will just go down the drain with the price you paid for your product. You can shampoo everyday, but condition it two, or three times a week. Unless you just like spending money for no reason. Good Luck! Steve
