What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?

My hair is thick and naturally wavy and curly in come places. I use heat products almost everyday. (Blow dryer, flat iron) I'm currently using Sauve BioBasics for normal to dry hair.





I really want my hair to be really soft and less poofy. Should I switch my shampoo and conditioner? What do you recommend?What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?
I have always been one to use salon products... since I was laid off I'm not financially able to purchase a $15.00 bottle of shampoo.. so I've tried different things. I have to say I love the Pantene Beautiful Lengths for growth.. but the Got2B Smooth Operator stuff is really good too. I purchased mine at Walgreens on sale buy one get one free... I was able to get two products for $6.00. It smells pretty good too.What is the best shampoo/conditioner for my hair type?
Use any shampoo or conditioner that is for straight hair. It should help smooth out your curls/waves. Then follow it up with a serum for straight hair once you towel dry it, and then blow dry it straight. Hopefully this will lessen the need for the flat iron, which is really damaging for hair.

to make your hair less poofy and softer i would recommend that you get a leave in conditioner and a smoothing serum
You should try Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner. I have curly hair, and I also straighten my hair(or used to anyway), and so my hair has gotten dry and broken, and these 3 healthy fatty oils are like food for hair, they need it!
lol my hair is thick too and its curly :D really curly but lee stafford shampoo works AMAZINGLY !!!!! I like the conditioner too :D the best shampoo and conditioner i have ever used.
Mane and tail or main and tail. Not sure on spelling. It's made for horse hair but it's sold at wal mart in the shampoo dept. It also helps to grow faster too
