It really depends on your hair type and what your hair responds well too. Also the techniques that you use to shampoo and condition your hair as well as the method used for drying all determine how shiny and silky your hair will be.
Garnier fructis is good, I have found that Pantene and its conditioners are also good but I really love Redken Allsoft Conditioner and Shampoo. It leaves my hair silky, shiny and well conditioned. Be sure to rinse with cool water for the shiniest hair and to seal the cuticle.
If your hair isn't really fine and you have pretty thick hair then another product that will maximize on shininess is by John Frieda and will be put in while hair is wet. It is a serum or polishing drops that can be used prior to blow drying and flat ironing. You will be amazed with your results!! It can be purchased at Wal-Mart or Target. Pretty easy to find. The name is Frizz Ease Serum by John Frieda. Sometimes Wal-Mart or other stores will just have it in a packet so that you can try it without buying it in the bottle. Even in the bottle it isn't that expensive compared to other serums (I pay $22 for Aveda serum, lol).

I have quite damaged blonde/brown hair and I like using the pink Herbal Essences followed by a Redken leave-in conditioner which is the best product I have ever used! It's called soft whip and is about 拢7 from hairdressers/internet. It's in a brown bottle with a black top. Everyone comments on how shiny and smooth my hair is! It makes it very easy to straighten too.
The thing that is better is Panteene
it makes your hair so silky and smooth i luv it. And all my friends use it and there hair is perfect. So, i started using it too. Silky, smooth, not dryed and it just i wonderful...TRY IT OUT
it only cost like 3 or 4 dollars a bottle...

Any good shampoo will do that if You add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a half gallon of water and use to rinse Your hair. If You need more water, just add more vinegar, proportionately. This MUCH more more economical than fancy shampoos and conditioners.
Try putting on ';Tony and Guy shine spray'; This is an AMAZING product that in one second can make your hair shimmer. Just wash your hair as normal and spray it on and brush it through. Your hair can also look much shinyer if you wear it down and keep it un-knotty.

alot depends on your hair type. oily, dry and etc. I would suggest going to your local sally beauty supply store in your area. they carry and array of great hair products to give you just that look you want. hope this helped.
Biolage is a fantastic conditioner/shampoo, but it's also very expensive. For a cheap brand that works well you could use Dove, which is fantastic for the prices, or Thermasilk.
try herbal esences frizz controll that makes your hair really smooth and soft =] and there this thing by burts bees its alvocado pree-shampoo it works like CRAZY just follow the instructions.

I use dove with moisturizers.
and if you have extra time, leave some conditioner in your hair for a few hours then rinse it.
