What is the best salon shampoo/ conditioner?

I've always loved Redken, and I just invested in their Extreme line because my hair is so damaged right now.

Otherwise though, what are some really good salon shampoos/conditioners?? Like Nexxus, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, Biosilk, Biolage? That's all I can think of for now, but if there's something else better tell me! I'm tired of Garnier and Dove. What is the best salon shampoo/ conditioner?
I swear by Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree. The hydrating version has lavender in it and I love the way it smells/feels.What is the best salon shampoo/ conditioner?
everyone's hair is going to be different. for me, i was looking for a shampoo with very light fragrance and no added colors because my skin and scalp are sensitive to those things. i finally decided to try paul mitchell awapuhi shampoo and i love it. its been working for me for months and i think i will keep repurchasing it. you just have to try different ones until you find one that suits your needs.

What shampoo/conditioner would be best for my hair?

My hair is long, very thick, naturally wavy, coarse, and dark brown colored (but not color treated).

I want it to be shiny, but not big and frizzy. What shampoo/conditioner would be best for my hair?
the kind that makes suds when ur hair is wet.

hahaWhat shampoo/conditioner would be best for my hair?
I think pantene would work or some suave shampoo
Redken Smooth would be perfect. Im not 100% positive if it's called smooth, it's in a bottle with a flat front and curved back and it's gold with white writing; you can buy it at any salon. Also herbal essences has good ones make for specific types of hair and for a fraction of the cost.
use herbal essence because they have ones for certain hair types
It's a little bit expensive, but Bed Head shampoos and conditioners are absolutely fantastic. For a less expenisve and still descent choice, use Herbal Essences or Pantene. STAY AWAY FROM SUAVE! It'll only make your hair frizzy. Afterwards, use Dove Sleek and Smoothe leave-in conditioner. Blow dry your hair with a brush. Good luck!

What is a good shampoo / conditioner for dry hair?

I used Herbal Essence Hello Hydration and its still dry. We have hard water, so I need a reallygood product! What is a good shampoo / conditioner for dry hair?
i have the same problem. i use pantene products. they work really well. look for shampoo and conditioner with humectress in it. that really helped me too. nexxus, dove and suave has some. try a beauty supply store in your area. What is a good shampoo / conditioner for dry hair?
umm well you need somehting reallreally good cause you have hard water that's going to be a tuff one i had dry hair and i use tresemme moisture rich and it damm good i love this shampoo and conditioner, and i use aussie 3 min miracle treatment to tis is really good and shinys my hair like crazyy!!
I use that product line as well and I like it. Make sure that you are not over washing your hair because that can cause your hair to dry out bad!!! I have found that the shampoo and conditioners I buy from the grocery stores work better for me than the expensive ones from the salon.
Dont use steaming hot water that's the first rule and then i really would suggest Tresemme shampoo then conditioner and its only for 3 dollars each at walmart or places like pharmacys!!!Have better luck with your hair!
Go to a salon or a beauty supply outlet and try and find ABBA Moisture Scentsations

it's smells like peppermint and it cools your head when you put it on and it moisturizes your hair a lot a lot

it's like a 100% vegan shampoo and it's all natural so it doesn't have a lot of detergents that dry out your hair
take vitamin A/B/C

use leave in conditioners

keep using the hello hydration, it wont take overnight. be patient.

  • Which herbal essences shampoo & conditioner is good for me?

i cut my hair short. it grew and now its like medium length kinda. and i want a shampoo %26amp; conditioner that will make my hair grow faster in some type of way! i need it long again! it was like a security blanket :( so pleasee help, and any other tips for fast hair growth will be good too!Which herbal essences shampoo %26amp; conditioner is good for me?
I have super long hair (almost to the small of my back). Mine has a bit of a unique texture, fine but lots of hair, and it's picky so hopefully anything that will be good for me will work for you.

I use either Garnier shampoo and conditioner in Length and Strength or Pantene Pro V Naturals (that one with the green cap) which makes my hair incredibly soft. Also I use Aussie's deep conditioner once a week or so.

As far as helping your hair to grow back quickly, be gentle with it when you brush, and get it trimmed regularly to get rid of split ends. Try to wash it only every other day if you can, a pinch of baby powder will get rid of any extra oil on the second day.

Edit: I just found this on another question, I have no idea of it works or not, but here it is. ';If your hair is damaged after this [bleaching], a good way to fix that is prenatal vitamins. They make your hair stronger, thicker and healthier (it takes a few months though!). As long as you don't mind having the people at the store think you're preggers. ; )';Which herbal essences shampoo %26amp; conditioner is good for me?
There's no Herbal Essences Shampoo that makes hair grow O_O

What is something i can use (shampoo/conditioner) to fix my damaged hair?

i use a straighter and curlying iron alot.

my hair has become damaged, and i was wondering if a product could fix that.

But i still want to be aloud to use flat irons and curyling irons on my hair. What is something i can use (shampoo/conditioner) to fix my damaged hair?
I use Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner. It's the one in a hot pink bottle, and it's for dry hair and split ends. I also straighten my hair everyday, and this keeps my hair healthy and soft! I also deep condition my hair every week. You can buy a deep conditioner at any of your local hair salons. You should also buy a heat protectant spray, and spray this into your damp hair before you apply any heat to your hair! Good luck, and i hope this helps. :)What is something i can use (shampoo/conditioner) to fix my damaged hair?
okay first go get some heat protection, you can get em for like 2 bucks there should be good ones for cheap out there. Also do deep conditioning, which means shampoo, then towel dry a little then put conditioner and wait for around 10 minutes or wayy more if you want to then you should do that once a week and it should get better as long as you don't iron ur hair every day and night without using protection.
First, try Biolage shampoos and conditioners. You can buy them at salons. They're pretty expensive, but work great! That should help the damage. Second of all, you should get a heat protection spray for when you curl and straighten your hair. Sunsilk has some good ones. I hope this helps, and good luck with your hair! (:

I really want my hair to smell like vanilla (i love vanilla :D ) but i don't have vanilla scented shampoo or conditionerHow do i get my hair to smell like vanilla without vanilla scented shampoo/conditioner?
You/Your parents probably have some imitation vanilla extract in the kitchen. Pour a few drops out and comb it through your hair or combine it with water in a spray bottle and spritz your hair with it while your finishing your look for the day.How do i get my hair to smell like vanilla without vanilla scented shampoo/conditioner?
Well just a tip, coz' my friend do this. She puts vanilla beans behind her ears. And really you can smell that sweet smell of vanilla from her. Specially if you greet her with a kiss to the cheek.

To have vanilla beans here: http://www.myvanillashop.com/buy_vanilla鈥?/a>
at Bath and Body Works, there is a shampoo called Warm Vanilla Sugar scent and you can mix it in with your regular shampoo and your hair will smell vanilla (:

i know you dont wanna use shampoos, so u cood just spray vanilla scent in your hairr

    good luckk
easiest and best thing to do is to but some vanilla smelling conditioner lol but you could crush some vanilla into a bath cap, and then leave it on all night, its natural and should work
I know that you can use vanilla extract in making perfume so I don't know why it can't be used in some form of shampoo or leave-in conditioner.
    you can use vanilla perfume!!

It doesnt make your hair look any different, just smell good :)

Did you get a special shampoo/conditioner or body wash to use after delivering your baby?

Because I did for my august 8th 2006 baby boy and I use it a few times a month and every time I do the smell brings back such strong emotions and memories of the day I gave birth to him. The sense of smell is such a powerful thing and I keep certain perfumes and (i know it's silly) but deodorants and face washes that I used growing up to smell them and get those memories of those times back.Did you get a special shampoo/conditioner or body wash to use after delivering your baby?
my son who is now 2,i used the aveeno baby wash and shampoo..i bought it again for my now 3 month old and everytime i go to bathe him,i feel very emotional as well...also the hospital i gave birth to my 3 month old at used the pampers swaddlers diapers and i recently bought a package and when i opened them the strong smell of the diapers brought back the memories of him as a newborn in the hospital. it might sound silly to some people but to me it is a normal thing and its good to bring back those sweet memories every once in a while =)

My boyfriend's hair is terrific, dark and thick, but it gets pretty greasy unless he shampoos it twice every day. He's not using a good shampoo and I'd like to get him a better one. I'm a fan of Matrix and Biolage, but I'm not familiar with the men's lines. What is the best salon shampoo/conditioner/product for thick, greasy men's hair?
Aveda makes a fabulous new line of men's hair care.

It's a bit more expensive but WORKS.

    It's definitely worth it.

I use Aveda Smooth Infusion because I have dryness problems with my hair in it works like a charm. But for greasy hair, you want something that is high in sodium ingredients because this will strip away excess oils. Check out their new men's line. It's the best.

Would I be able to get them at a Walgreens or Rite-Aid or would i have to go to a salon to get them?Where can I get Biosilk shampoo/conditioner and John Fredia products?
It depends on your drugstore. Sometimes you can buy them there and sometimes you can't. Most of them are available at Walgreens though:

http://www.walgreens.com/search/results.鈥?/a>Where can I get Biosilk shampoo/conditioner and John Fredia products?
Although it *is* possible to get them in stores like that, they do not come with a guarantee, That means the product can be expired, diluted or even completely fake. This is called diversion. People get a hold of the packaging or buy product in bulk and resell it to stores like this. Usually those stores sell it for the same amount if not *more* than the salon sells it for, You can usually get great deals at the salon when they have sales. If there is a JC penny around you, check their salon, they often have deals that are better than us professionals can get at beauty supply stores.

  • I recently bought the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo, conditioner and repair creme serum, do they work?

I recently bleached my hair and it wasn't quite as light as I wanted, I'm hoping this might lighten my hair a shade without causing further damage. If anyone has any reviews on the products it would be helpful because on one website I saw people were saying it made their hair fall out, and don't want that when I've spent quite a lot of money on the products! Thanks.I recently bought the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo, conditioner and repair creme serum, do they work?
I doubt it will make your hair fall out after just a few uses, especially because it contains no bleach or peroxide. The shampoo and conditioner contain a lightening complex of citrus and chamomile to enable blondes to gradually achieve that much desired subtle all-over highlighting effect. Try it a few times and see if it works for you, if it has damaging affects on the hair then discontinue use of it. Hope this helps.I recently bought the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo, conditioner and repair creme serum, do they work?

Is it better to scratch or rub the scalp when applying shampoo/conditioner?

I am working on my dry scalp and dandruff problems if that makes a difference. Is it better to scratch or rub the scalp when applying shampoo/conditioner?
1] brush hair thoroughly [ brushing seems to loosen up flakes better ]

2] buy a good quality shampoo and conditioner for dandruff or scalp conditions [ Tgel, Tsal , or the CVS equivalent ]

    3] wet hair thoroughly

4] apply about 25 to 50 cents sizeamount of shampoo to HANDS, rub together, and scrub into scalp with tips of fingers - not scratching or rubbing. If doesn't make good lather, wash twice. Leave on hair about three minutes

    5] rinse, rinse, rinse

6] press out extra water from hair, and apply 25 to 50 cents size of conditioner to hands. Rub together, and scrub into scalp to medicate it. Leave on at least three minutes.

    7] rinse, rinse, rinse

8] press out water with hands, and blot in a big towel

9] scrub brush, combs in shampoo and nail brush - rinse well

10] do not use any styling products with alcohol

11] comb out tangles with a wide tooth combIs it better to scratch or rub the scalp when applying shampoo/conditioner?

Definitely do NOT scratch your scalp, that will only stir up more dandruff. Use your fingertips, not nails to rub in the shampoo.

I too have thin hair and I love Aveda. I get health cuts ever 12 weeks and use their Shampure line and it keeps my hair nice and healthy. When I find I have a little extra that I can spend I use Kerastace, Age Bain Recharge shampoo and conditioner, but this line is very expensive. Lasts cause you only need a tiny bit, but shampoo is like $28 and conditioner is $48 or there abouts.

Avenda is a good line that's not expensive. It's a natural product.
i use maxis. it is expensive but i am a well trained many years in beauty school and if the shampoo/conditioner is under $9 dollars it is just damaging you hair. i might make you hair feel soft but it is not making it soft it is adding Greace weather you can feel it or not and it is damaging your hair

  • What shampoo/conditioner will be best for my hair?

My hair's about an inch long, ( I'm a guy!) and I do various things to it.

I'll spike it up in the front sometimes and other time's I'll flat iron it.

But with both of these I've noticed that my scalp seems to be dry and flaky, and my hair tends to get greasy. Head and Shoulders doesn't work, nor does the Garnier Fructis anti-dandruff shampoo.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to a shampoo/conditioner set that would solve this problem for good? What shampoo/conditioner will be best for my hair?
Redken has great products, but if you are not wanting to spend a lot, you could try Tresame. I have used it for a long time, on different styles and lengths and love it. Also, make sure that no matter what shampoo you use you get a hydrating conditioner and it helps if you rinse with cooler water. Hot water will dry your scalp. I do not recomment Pantene because it builds up in your hair over a short time and will make it look greasy. What shampoo/conditioner will be best for my hair?
ge redken shampoo it really works. go to the store and see witch one is for you. TRUST ME!! my moms a hair stylist she knows
I'm a Guy also and have short hairr, I know what you mean about the cheap products. If you use lots of hair products in your hair then there are a few things that you can do to revitalize your hai and keep it fresh.

    1) Hair Repair System with Joico

What this does is it's a 3-step process to get your hair back on track. The first treatment washes and strips the product out of your hair. The second actually washes and repairs the hair and the third is a conditioner protecting it. I have used this product before with my hair stylist and it works great! She informed me of what product to buy so that I could do it on my own. It's really easy.

    http://www.joico.com/product/detail.php?鈥?/a>

    2) Bumble %26amp; Bumble has a great line of products. There a little more than the average haircare product but it's well worth it. They sell a haircare treatment system that works really well. It's just a shampoo and conditioner. But the line is HUGE! They cater to all types of hair such as thin, thick, fine, dammaged, dry etc. So they might be something worth checking out. I have used them also and have been pleased.

    http://www.bumbleandbumble.com/

If neither of those products work for you then I woud suggest head and shoulders. That really puts moisture into your hair and takes care of any dryscalp. I personally use that if I need something quick. My favorite out of all the products is the Joico treatment. My hair feels amazing afterwords. I could use all the product I wanted in my hair knowing that this is going to get it all out. Good luck!

PS. Bumble %26amp; Bumble is sold at professional salons only. You wont find this at the market store.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner. It is ultra-moisturizing, so if you leave it on the full 3 minutes before rinsing it out, it will really soften and smooth it out. It also smells wonderful. I convinced my boyfriend to use it and he loves it too.

What's the best shampoo/conditioner for damaged frizzy hair?

I don't want all that commercial stuff that doesn't work - Herbal Essences, Pantene, whatever.

What would actually work? I use Redken/John Frieda right now, but it's not making much of a difference. What's the best shampoo/conditioner for damaged frizzy hair?
i know you said you're using REDKEN

but have you tried REDKEN EXTREME

it's made specifically for dry, damaged, distressed hair

    you should look into it

http://www.redken.com/products/haircare/鈥?/a>What's the best shampoo/conditioner for damaged frizzy hair?
Surprisingly enough, I use Dove.. the one in the dark blue bottle, it's like an extreme repair... it works wonders!
I have fine/curly/frizzy hair that I straighten. I have tried a ton of salon lines (bumble %26amp; bumble, biolage, bed head, aveda) and Kerastase is by far the best

    I use Bain Satin 3 shampoo http://www.kerastase-usa.com/_en/_us/nut鈥?/a>

    For conditioners I rotate between:

    -Masquintense http://www.kerastase-usa.com/_en/_us/nut鈥?/a>

    -Ciment Anti-Usure http://www.kerastase-usa.com/_en/_us/res鈥?/a>

-Bain de Terre White Clover Conditioner http://www.beautydepot.com/074469414586.鈥?/a>

I also use Ciment Thermique (the most amazing stuff ever) http://www.kerastase-usa.com/_en/_us/res鈥?/a>
cheap vitamin e. cut the capsule open and rub onto hands and message into just washed hair but not the scalp. hair will feel sticky until dry. does wonders for your hair and also makes it grow fast. the growth part takes about a month to kick in. other results are instant.

Does redken fresh curls shampoo, conditioner and additional products of the redken fresh curl line work?

I just want to know if it's worth my money.

I mean, Redken hair products ALWAYS are,

but just curl enhancer products always seem.. like they're not as good as they advertise.Does redken fresh curls shampoo, conditioner and additional products of the redken fresh curl line work?
It is a great line ..

Your problem with ';curl enhancing'; products is going to be the same for Redken as well .. this is what they are made for:

Curl enhancing shampoos and conditioners are made to help fix the problems that people with curly hair tend to complain about, which is usually dry hair and frizz. So what you are going to get from Fresh Curls is more moisture and a little bit of silicone to soften the hair and help define the curls. It won't give your hair any more curl.

It's always a good idea to buy professional though. The ingredients are better, and it's not as drying to your hair.

    How good is tresseme shampoo/conditioner?

If anyone knows how good tresseme line of hair products is, please share. I straighten my hair and need an amazing shampoo, conditioner, and thermal protector against the heat. Tresseme is sold in huge bottles and some people swear by it. But, its sold in drug stores for like $5, so how good could it be? It says its used by salon professionals? Any advice or warnings??? Right now i use Dove Therapy Intensive treatment (blue bottle) Any advice or tips? How good is tresseme shampoo/conditioner?
    Shampoo is shampoo....

as long as they have the two lauryls in them.. then its good to go... laurylsulfate and laureth sulfate (not 100% ont the spelling) you also want to look fro a shampoo that is clear... the creamy shampoos leave a residue in your hair which menas its not REALLY cleaning it, tis jstu replacing the dirt...

and for a conditioner.....just be sure to do a deep action conditioning once a week or so... liek leave the ocnditioner on fro 10 mins while you relax in the tub or whatever, before you rinse it out.... and jsut do a quick shampoo style wash with the conditioner everytime you wash..... (thats why i do......and althoguht i don't strighten my hair, i do blowdry it every day) and my hair look great....and i'm not the type to hype myself up often.. so.. lol

but yea... with shampoo and conditoners. as long as you look fro thoes 3 things. then they only other choice is to look for a scent you like... i liek ehrbal essences... and suave wild strawberries.

    G/LHow good is tresseme shampoo/conditioner?
Tresseme is a wonderful product, I love it personally. Don't pay attention to prices use what works!!! AND THIS ONE DOES
I like Therma-silk! The other one used to be sold in salons but went onto shelves in the 80's. I was not impressed by it.
I would not say Tresseme is amazing. It smells amazing and has a 'salon-y' type of smell, but it doesn't do anything more than the average shampoo/conditioner. I have a 'high-maintenance' hairstyle that requires heat styling and the trick is to only 'do' your hair 2 to 3 times a week tops, and just touch it up on the mornings in between. If you're an every day hairwasher, cut it out!! That's damaging enough on its own!! If your head is really greasy after just one day, it's because you're washing it too often and it's over producing sebum(hair oil) to keep the scalp from drying out. You have to wean yourself off of washing it so much, very slowly. Like cut down to only 6 washes/week, and then 5/week the next week and so on....

    Best of luck!!
I have tried all brands of hair products but will now stick with tresseme. I find it very good, especially the intensive conditioner, and my fine curly hair needs a lot of care. My hairdresser also said its good. They come in all size bottles so you can try out the small size.
    tresemme works good.

dont judge a product by it`s price!

try it , you`ll most likely like it, if not hey u spemnt only $5 right?

but seriously it`s worth a try!
TresSeme is a very poor quality product line. It used to be a professional salon product, but because of the changes they made in their products the professional nolonger carry it in salon.

It has a drying agent in it that will build up on your hair and is 80% water, that is the shampoo. I would stay far, far away from the TresSeme line personally. You'd honestly be better off w/ Aussie if you can only buy store products over professional.

    Good Luck,

What is the best shampoo & conditioner to get hair healthy?

What is the best to use because I might have to get my hair stripped because its black and its not suppose to be and stripping kills your hair I guess so what is the best product to use to restore healthy hair....I already have extremely healthy hair (ive been told my hair dressers) and I want it to stay like that so what are the best products to use? What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner to get hair healthy?
Redken.. which was already taken lol... and dont use pantene, pantene smells great and makes it soft, but its only because it coats it with an unatural oil, and any hair dresser will tell ya its bad for your hair. I hope your hair survives the stripping, id try to avoid that at any cost. I had always had thick healthy hair, i dyed it black because im a moron and had to strip it back to the natural blonde... well i fried the shitt out of it! It is 13 years later and it still isnt as healthy as it was before then. My hair was like straw and falling out, i cried for i swear a year :( but everyones hair is different, so hopefully yours will take it like a champ. What is the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner to get hair healthy?
I had black hair and stripped the color out and it ruined my hair and this was 6 months ago, it started falling out and becoming very thin, I tried many things I found Paul Mitchell worked good for me but now I use Infusium23 repairology which is cheaper but works awesome I also uses neutrogena tgel its made for dandruff which I don't have but I use it once a week and it helps clarify and make my hair very healthy
TRESemme Vitamin E Moisture Rich Conditioner and Shampoo i been using it for like 2 year and my hair looks better then ever...
Herbal essence shampoo and conditioners work wonders for my hair, you could try those.
Pantene is a really good hair product and it will also help your hair after your strip it.

  • Does some hair retain the scents of shampoo/conditioner more than others?

My friend's hair always smells good for longer than mine, even if we use the same shampoo/conditioner.Does some hair retain the scents of shampoo/conditioner more than others?
Depends on your hairDoes some hair retain the scents of shampoo/conditioner more than others?
i think it does my fiances smells better longer then mine
I've always wondered that myself...I'll wash my hair with great smelling shampoo, and it only smells good for like an hour.....bummer.......
it depends upon your body,it means that your sweats more than your friend that is why it happens
Do you smoke...or are you around it? That could be it
thicker hair keeps the smell longer i think
    Yes!
Thicker curlier hair does hold sent longer. However If u want your hair to smell great, 2 things! 1. There are some scented inserts for some blow dryers. 2. When you perfume in the morning don't spray directly into your hair (NOT GOOD!!!) but spay above your head and let it fall into your hair, my BF loves that!! Hope I helped.

P.S. I am so offended by the first link provided!!
Curly blonde hair retains the most moisture, so it would retain the most scent. The more open the cuticle on the hair is, or the more porous the strand, the more smell it will retain.

How do you make your hair smell good with only Shampoo/conditioner?

Okay, so I hug people sometimes at school, mostly guys.

sometimes they smell my hair and my friend Lauren hugged a guy named Sam a couple days ago and he said her hair smelled like Shampoo. How could I make my hair smell like shampoo?

when I take a shower in the night time, I want my hair to smell like my shampoo the next dayy.

Am I supposed to take a shower in the morning or whattt?

ahahah please answer this question. it would help...A LOT!!!

use the outrageous shampoo and and conditioner.. you can smell it in your hair, smells like Perfume:)How do you make your hair smell good with only Shampoo/conditioner?
its possible that it was a scented shampoo. Garnier Fructis shampoo usually leaves a nice scent, and Herbal Essences has lots of scented shampoos. If you want your hair to smell like that, you can probably find a similar match at Bath and Body Works to spray in your hair. 1 or 2 spritzes will give a nice scent :)
Buy Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray - This one smell good.

What shampoo/conditioner makes your hair soft and shiny?

I want my hair to be really really soft, but look like it is too. Like ';Oooh her hair looks soft! I wanna touch it'; :)What shampoo/conditioner makes your hair soft and shiny?
Actually, Garnier fructis came out Triple Nutrition recently. Try it! It actually works!!What shampoo/conditioner makes your hair soft and shiny?
You'll want brands that have a reputation for being super-moisturizing. Aussie (their 5-Minute Miracle defines what you're looking for, here), Garnier Fructis (it also smells fabulous), and Pantene all are known for making hair shiny, smooth and soft to the touch. And you can buy all of them at your local drug store!

If you feel like splurging, look at Bumble and Bumble conditioners, which are like little hydrating masks. They're pretty up there in price but it feels luxurious, like you're giving yourself a spa treatment.
I use herbal essences nearly all the time any type will do I think, I'm kind of known for having 'soft' hair. It's kind of annoying actually I dunno why I'm just odd but yeah herbal essences are good and make your hair smell good :)
I think the new Aveeno Shampoo and Conditioner works well. They have all different kinds. Hope I helped.
you could try Garnier or Head and Shoulder because it makes your hair silky smooth. You could go to walmart and get the head and shoulders smooth and silky kind of it.

What's the best shampoo/conditioner for highlighted hair?

I have blonde hair with black highlights and I was gonna get that blonde john frieda shampoo but would that mess up the black? What would be the best for my hair? What's the best shampoo/conditioner for highlighted hair?
Definitely Pureology! I have had blonde hair with highlights and the stuff is amazing! Make sure to get the purple bottle! Its a little spendy but it makes your highlights awesome. Oh and they actually sell it at Target now. If you have a chatters in your hometown though its a better deal. Good luck! What's the best shampoo/conditioner for highlighted hair?
yes, john frieda sheer blond would be the best. Don't worry about it ruining the black (it doesn't contain bleach) it will make the blond pop out.
Pureology is really great but pretty expensive, they do have a knockoff brand at sally's of the pureology.

Redkin has a color care shampoo as well. Sally's also has this it is called park avenue.

When looking for a color care shampoo you want to look for something that also has uv protectant. Redkin does have this.

You also want to avoid using an iron on the hair, or if you do use a thermal protectant.

    Good luck!
try going to Sally's and they have shampoo and all the hair care products you can use there and its called ION you can get it for colored hair and it works really well there is a chance that you john frieda stuff can ruin your hair but its not guaranteed
TIGI dumb blonde shampoo and conditioner - esp designes for highlighted/chemically treated hair - helps prevent blonde going brassey and the conditioner can be used aseither a daily or a conditioning treatment..and it smells gorgeous!
Get matrix biolage color care shampoo and conditioner, it helps hydrate hair and keeps it shiny. If not try Redkin Extreme. Also since you went dark the best results are when you wash your hair with cool water not warm, it will rinse out the color faster if you use warm water. trust me.
Pureology.. the colorsafe one.. the stuff is a little more expensive, but it is really good for your hair.

Whats the best afordable shampoo, conditioner and heat protector to use for hair?

my hair often gets naughty quickly and when i brush it a lot of hairs snap leaving me with split ends!! is there a shampoo= conditioner which will help with this or anything elese ? %26amp; one which will help my hair look healthier as well. Thank youuu !!Whats the best afordable shampoo, conditioner and heat protector to use for hair?
Ok, I don't know what's your hair type, so here goes the basic. You should wash your hair once a week with a Deep Cleansing Shampoo, then you can wash with the normal shampoo for your hair type(dry, oily, normal, fine, thick, coarse, straight, curly) the second wash and as needed(untill you feel clean), then apply a treatment mask for your hair type and need(or 1 which suits all hair types), buy the sachets, the cheap ones at the shops, they cost like 2 dollars, you might need 3 if your hair is volumous and long, Alberto VO5 is a good choice. Or just buy a tube or pot of it, its like 6Euros. Wear a plastic(shower cap, the thicker, the better) and leave for 7 minutes(follow the instructions), wash it out, apply a conditioner for your hair type, aplly a good thermal-heat protector and a tips=ends sealer, blow dry it or straighten as desired. Do this every week, your hair will thank! Also have a well balanced healthy food diet. Cheers, Try Alberto VO5 products, they are good and cheap.Whats the best afordable shampoo, conditioner and heat protector to use for hair?

  • What is a good chlorine-removing shampoo/conditioner?

I am now swimming everyday and am worried about the effects on my hair. I did a little research and came up with 2 brands that sound like the best:

    Agree Swimmers Solution

    UltraSwim Shampoo

Does anyone know, from experience, which brand is better? Or, can anyone recommend something better? What is a good chlorine-removing shampoo/conditioner?
UltramSwim is the best. Also, Nexxus Aloe Rid Gentle Shampoo, and Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three. These 2 are higher than UltramSwim and are no better. What is a good chlorine-removing shampoo/conditioner?
My son's swim everyday in the summer. Their hair would stink because the chlorine. My hair stylist recommend to wet their hair before entering the pool because if your hair is dry, it soaks up the chlorine. Also, they suggest mixing some baking soda with water and forming a past and putting that on their hair and that would remove the smell and chlorine. Then wash it regularly. It worked.
If you go to your local hair salon they have a shampoo that is like the chlorine treatment that you can get at a salon (malabo treatment spelling might be wrong). But its nice but quite expensive. But ULTRASwim is amazing as well! Cheap but i recommend either getting that treatment done or the shampoo. Come to think of it i think Redkin makes it.
You could use UltraSwim or this other stuff that you get at a vitamin store like GNC or something, it's called Swimmer's Normalizing Shampoo for Active life Styles. It's made by Albrey Organics.

How often should i be using shampoo/conditioner?

Hi just wondering. I just have a fairly low-maintenance buzzcut, but i shampoo/condition every day when i shower. Is this good for my hair, and does anyone know what is generally recommended in terms of frequency? I'm 19 btw, so have fairly greasy hair, if that matters. How often should i be using shampoo/conditioner?
Shampooing your hair every day strips the hair of its natural oils needed to be healthy.

Basically every time you wash your hair it gets damaged. This is because shampoo contains harsh chemicals.

Id recommend shampooing your hair every other day with a natural shampoo. Lush do some great ones. (www.lush.com) and condition it everyday as it moisturises the hair and scalp. It also closes the pores on your head locking in moisture. As long as you wash out the conditioner thoroughly it wont make the hair look greasy.

    Hope ive helped

Emily xHow often should i be using shampoo/conditioner?
You should wash your hair whenever you like. Not washing the hair can cause problems, with oil blocking the follicles if you have greasy hair. You should condition everytime you wash your hair though as it moisturises the scalp as well as the hair. If you have very very short hair you might be able to get away with not conditioning, but even then conditioning won't do any harm.

If your hair is longer than a few inches, just think of all the dirt and grease building up on it that you're living with. It's hygienic to wash regularly. Why would I want a clean body, but dirty and greasy hair?

Your teenage hormones will cause you to have more greasy skin and if you leave the hair greasy it might spread to your face to cause more spots. You won't over dry your hair or skin as long as you condition after.
A lot of people say it is bad to wash your hair ever dayy with shampoo. I think you are only supposed to use shampoo a couple of times a week. I tried doing that once and could not get used to it, but it did make my hair a lot healthier. I stuck with it a couple of weeks. Now I shampoo every day.
if you a guy theres no need in conditioner.

    if your a girl,

wash your hair every 3 days.

when you put your conditioner on, dont put it on from the top of you head.

just put it on the bottom of your hair/tips.

so half your hair is in conditioner, that will stop the greasiness.
it's good to use your shampoo and conditioner everyday, but when you finished using your shampoo and conditioner. You should buy another brand!!! Apparently you can lose your hair quicker if you use the same brand for a long time, but i don't know if it's true?!?!?
The more you wash it,the greasier it gets as it encourages more oil.I used to have hair like an oil slick but the more I washed the more it needed it.I now only wash and condition once a week as I cut back the amount I washed it.No it's not good to over wash it either.
shampooing everyday dries out your hair,if you must however, buy a daily shampoo/conditioner that's safe enough to use everyday.Btw ,i usually shampoo twice weekly for the most
Don't wash your hair everyday cause it dries out your hair. You should only apply conditioner to the ends of your hair, not the roots because it makes your hair greasier.
if you're a guy, shampoo everyday. no need to condition.
tous les jours..especially if you have greasy hair

What is the purpose of using shampoo & conditioner every morning?

I was taking my usual morning shower and I asked myself, ';What is the purpose of using shampoo %26amp; conditioner for our hair each and every morning?'; Besides grooming ourselves of course. What is the purpose of using shampoo %26amp; conditioner every morning?
I think the grooming thing IS the point.

Some people actually aren't supposed to shampoo and condition EVERY day; it dries out their hair and so they do it every two or three days.

But other than that, it's just to 1. cleanse and 2. moisturize and soften the hair. Because clean, soft, shiny hair is valued in our culture. What is the purpose of using shampoo %26amp; conditioner every morning?
so you wont have stinky dry or oily hair and offend people

Is it OK to Shampoo Every Day if you Use a Natural Shampoo/Conditioner with no Sulfates or Chemicals?

I use Burt's Bees brand Grapefruit and Sugar Beets Shampoo and conditioner. There are absolutely no chemicals. (if you havent tried it yet you should!) Is it OK to shampoo every day? Is the reason its advised to not shampoo everyday bcause of the chemicals and sulfates that strip your hair?Is it OK to Shampoo Every Day if you Use a Natural Shampoo/Conditioner with no Sulfates or Chemicals?
    no

you are losing to much natural oils

even if the container says it moisturizesIs it OK to Shampoo Every Day if you Use a Natural Shampoo/Conditioner with no Sulfates or Chemicals?
Honestly I'd consider just conditioning your hair. Rub it into your scalp just like shampoo. Trust me, your hair gets clean just from that! Shampoo is actually quite unnecessary except for people with severely oily hair.

It takes some getting used to, but you wouldn't regret throwing the shampoo away altogether!
Thank for the tip, I'll try it. I wash my hair every 2 days; keeping a clean scalp is a way of having healthy hair, when you use good conditioning shampoos. Its the blow drying what damages your hair. In my case, I let my hair get almost dry before I blow dry it in warm setting, this way my hair gets a lot less heat.
i shampoo and condition everyday. i just use Tresemme. but i don't straighten my hair or use any products.
depends who you ask. but if you have short hair (as in a boys crew cut etc) i would reccomend you wash your hair every day especially if you sweat at all
No, it still causes the hair to dry out.
i suggest to still wash your hair only every other day so the oils from your scalp can hydrate your hair.
Yeah, that should be ok. :)

I have a fairly new pet lop earred rabbit. What kind of shampoo & conditioner is best to use on their fur?

Also, I need to find a way to train him to use a litter box when I let him out of his cage for exercise, and to clean out his cage. Are they very difficult to litter box train? Any suggestions?I have a fairly new pet lop earred rabbit. What kind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner is best to use on their fur?
Any large pet store should carry small animal shampoo, but rabbits do not need to bathed often, but you should brush/comb their fur daily if possible (this is also good bonding time, and gets the rabbit used to being handled)

Litter training is fairly easy, start by scooping up their 'mess' and putting it in the litter box, this will help them learn that that's what the box if for...

My buns mastered litter training in about 4-6 weeks (no accident since) Make sure when the bun is out, there are no electrical cords to chew on, and no tight spaces where the rabbit can hide (its difficult to get them out, and it stresses them out) make sure you have a carpet or blanket out, as most rabbits slide on hardwood and linoleum.

www.rabbit.org is a GREAT resource for rabbit owners, on all aspects of owning a rabbit.

Here's the link for litter training

Congrats on the bun, I have 2 and I LOVE them!I have a fairly new pet lop earred rabbit. What kind of shampoo %26amp; conditioner is best to use on their fur?
yeah, see... it seems like you want a dog and somehow ended up with a rabbit.
I do not suggest giving rabbits a bath. Rabbits get sick very easily and even with warm water they can get cold then sick. If they need to be bathed because they are dirty, just wipe them off with a warm cloth and make sure they are not in a draft or cold area while they dry.

Rabbits are often easier to litter box train than a cat. Place a small litter box in the cage, the best is a triangular shaped tray, because it can be attached in the corner of the cage. Use litter like Yesterday鈥檚 News or check to see what your pet store has available. Do NOT use clay litter, it is very unsafe. The rabbit will usually sit in the box when it is first put in the cage, but this is normal. After maybe a week, you will probably start seeing urine and droppings in the box. Make sure you clean this daily so the rabbit will continue to use it. Once the rabbit is let out of its cage, it will usually wait until it goes back in the cage to do his business. You can also set a litter box outside the cage so the rabbit will use that while he is out. I never had to train my rabbits, they have always know where to go to the bathroom and have always waited until they were back in their cage.

Bunnies don't usually need to be bathed, in fact, bathing them can make them sick, because they're not accustomed to being wet and cold - it's very bad for them.

If you occasionally need to wash your bunny's fur, for example if she has had diarrhoea, the best idea is to place a clean towel on the ground, say in the kitchen or bathroom, and saturate the towel with luke-warm water (not hot and never cold water - cold water can put a bunny into shock) and then place your bunny on the towel, let the water soak into her, and massage her grubby areas gently but firmly with the wet towel until she's clean.

If that isn't getting her clean enough, in unusual circumstances, you can also give her a 'mini' bath, but only in about one inch, two centimetres of luke-warm water (not hot and never cold water). It's also best to do this in a container on the floor, because rabbits hate water, and she will probably try to jump out of the water. So be VERY careful that she doesn't jump out suddenly and injure herself, don't take your eye off her for one second while she's around the water.
Do not bathe your bunny. They should not be given full baths like other pets.

Only if really needed and then very little water only enough to get off what ever is in the fur and no shampoo at all.

    It can make them sick.

Litter training is easy scoop up the mess and put it in the box. They will start to use the box becasue they smell their droppings in it.

Please know you will have poop in places as if you spook a bunny it will leave a few balls of poo.

All of mine used the litter box. I only had one go outside of it once. They all always peed in the box but I would find poo in may spots. It is dry and does not smell you cna just sweep it up.
Mine started making messes throughout my apartment, and knew this had to stop. Brought out the old unused cat box, (Cat passed away 3 years ago), put it in the bathroom, put some of their old droppings in it along with special Rabbit litter mix. To my suprise, they used it the Very First Night! Now I use clumping cat litter in the box, it's cheaper and easier to clean, just don't put too much in though, they'll just use it as a play sand box. Shampoo, use the type recommended for Cats, Dog shampoo is too strong and may hurt them.

  • What's the best shampoo & conditioner for my dry, short, thick wavy hair?

I used to straighten my hair a lot so now my hair's really dry and damaged. My hair's also short--it falls right above my shoulders. It's also really thick and wavy. I need something that makes my hair really shiny and smooth, plus a little less poofy and it'd be good if it could repair the damage i've caused to my hair. Thanks! What's the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for my dry, short, thick wavy hair?
You may think this sounds nuts, but DO NOT use shampoo except in the most dire circumstances. You can easily remove the build up of oil from you scalp and hair by gently massaging conditioner all over your scalp and the roots of your hair and rinsing thoroughly. I do this daily instead of shampooing. Shampoos, even the mildest out there, contain detergents that are over-drying and damaging to hair.

I have hair very similar to what you describe and when I was first told this I laughed. But then I tried it and my hair has been soft and shiny like never before. My curls are better defined as well. I even work out regularly and I still don't need shampoo. I shampoo less than once a month. And my friends swear they cannot tell that I only condition.

I know it sounds odd, but try it for a week and you'll see a difference. I use Aveda moisturizer. What's the best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for my dry, short, thick wavy hair?
Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner. I know it sounds strange, but after using nothing else for over 2 years, you won't go back to shampoo. Also sold on QVC
I use Dove two in one and it works great.
Nexxus moisturising products, all of them . They sell them at Walmart now!! Or you can get the generic cheaper brand from Sally's beauty supply ,they are cheaper but have the same ingredients as the real on the comparison or both products are on the back of the White bottle with black writing and all the ingredients are the same and it works just as well try it. I bet you it will work for you..
i like biolage... apply lots and conditioner and let it stay a while before you wash off... it helps :)

Gosh. I have the SAME hair as you. Im looking for that answer too. Please let me know if you find something that works!
Garnier Fructis is the best shampoo and I reccomend it to anyone. You can get some just for hydrating your hair and once that is accomplished you can switch and get the Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioners. I never thought it mattered or figured it would help but it really does. Also the SunSilk brand has come out with a shine spray that you spray on damp or dry hair and that really helps with frizzys.

    Good Luck!!!
head %26amp; shoulders shampoo with suave or white rain conditioner.....its cheap and will make your hair soft

ps..... for no frizz and a shine use garnire (not speld rite) sleek and shine
Marc Anthony- Strictly Curls is a great product, its a little bit more pricey but wont leave your hair with build up like other products. He also makes a great leave in conditioner that helps tame frizzies and fly aways and helps sculpt your curls.
Aveda Sap Moss---a little expensive, but you only need a dab---it will last for 2 months---shampoo and conditioner!! PROMISE!!!!

What is best brand of Shampoo & Conditioner for Curly Hair?

I have curly hair. I was wondering what is the best brand to buy from Walmart or Target?

Has anyone tried the shampoo from Sally's Beauty Store? What is best brand of Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner for Curly Hair?
Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful:

    * Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find ratings here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons

    * Don't shampoo every day.

    * Comb conditioner through hair in the shower.

    * Never use a brush, only a comb or better yet fingers, when wet.

    * Apply styling products to dripping wet hair

    * Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don鈥檛 know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types

    * Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber or tshirts instead.

    * Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer.

    * Don't touch your hair while it鈥檚 drying.

For specific products you might want to explore the forums at:

    http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/

Once you find out your hair type you can find others with the same hair type and try out some of their favorite products. There's lots of stuff you can get locally at an ULTA or Sally's, just poke around. :)

What is a good ';supermarket'; shampoo/conditioner to use?

I was told it needs to have the right pH levels, or it will strip/damage my hair. I was also told that I need to alternate my shampoo every week. I currently use Panteen ';Ice Shine'; and it's ok, nothing spectacular. My hair itself is fine, but I have a lot of it, so it's ';thick';. It's also a really dark blond, almost brown, but not quite. You don't have to change your shampoo so often. I use Dove (think cheap!) shampoo and conditioner on my very long, thick, coarse hair and it works great. If you are concerned with shine, try a shine spray. Just a light misting makes my hair look amazing.

I use the Pantene Brown Expressions line shampoo and conditioner, and I love it. It holds my color and my hair is always really shiny.

I also used the John Freda Brilliant Brunette stuff for a couple of months and hated it. It made my hair greasy and limp. And the ';shine enhancer'; or whatever it is called just weighed my hair down and didn't do anything to make it shine.
    pantene pro v
    Pantein.
    Biolage
omg the product Nioxin works best for everything!! dont use pantene, matrix, or anything else because your color will wash out. biolage is ok too but its not as strong as nioxin. plus this product helps make your hair grow faster, healthier, %26amp; smoother. the link below will help you find a store near you. good luck!
Try Halo. I've used it with good success. It's nice because all the formulas are blended for colored hair, but they still address any other issues you have. Like dryness, or oil, or frizz. It smells good too. It is a salon product though, so you do have to buy it at a salon or at a supply place.
ghd shampoo and conditioner will work a treat in your hair, i had just dyed my hair blonde and it was like straw, actually worse, that was until i went to the hairdressers and she used the ghd shampoo and conditioner and instantly i felt a difference.my hair was as smooth as a babys bum and my hair seemed so shiny.

What can I do to my hair to make it retain the scent of my shampoo/conditioner?

It doesn't seem to matter what shampoos and conditioners I try, my hair doesn't retain the scent. It's not that my hair smells bad, but rather that it just doesn't smell good, either. Sometimes it will retain a faint scent when I air dry it, but not when I blow dry it.

I use a lot of different brands. Tresemme, Aussie and Herbal Essences are just a few, so I don't think it's the brand. Any help? What can I do to my hair to make it retain the scent of my shampoo/conditioner?
this happens to me too when i blowdry my hair. i usually buy a mousse or gel in the same brand as shampoo ( they usually smell the same) and it helps keep that clean fresh smell. also spray a little perfume in your hair. it will hold the scent all day and when you move your head you will smell it.What can I do to my hair to make it retain the scent of my shampoo/conditioner?
u can spray a little perfume on ur brush

    (one spray is enough)

and then just brush through ur hair...

i wouldn't recommend doing that everyday tho

cause i doubt its good for it...but it smells

seriously...I think that thoughs things are just mild soap thats good enough for almost everything. not to harsh for hair but not to light for skin. I have a friend whose kid baths only with V05 shampoo because other soaps irritate her skin. I dont think you have to mix to make ur own just use (or create if you can) a mild-ish soap. make it peach /strawberry scented. ; )How do I make a 3 in 1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash? Just throw some shampoo and conditioner in a bottle. Use it to wash your hair and body. Or...do it the old fashioned way...one at a time.
you need a laboratory, reserach scientist, and a huge factory.

    then it's easy.
Pour it all in the same container? Lol.

Is Garnier Fructis fortifying shampoo/conditioner good for your hair ?

Is Garnier Fructis fortifying shampoo/conditioner good for your hair ? It doesnt leave my hair the softest, but mabe thats b/c I have been using pantene and thats supposed to be really bad for your hair because of the wax.Is Garnier Fructis fortifying shampoo/conditioner good for your hair ?
It is one of the best things for your hair! Good thinking by using it!Is Garnier Fructis fortifying shampoo/conditioner good for your hair ?
The Fortifying shampoo and conditioner are supposed to be for ';normal'; hair.

Since you have been using Pantene and say that it was drying your hair because of the wax, I'd recommend using a clarifying shampoo like VO5 Vanilla Mint Shampoo to get rid of the waxes first, and afterwards, add some olive oil to your hair.

After you clarify the first time, you can go on using the Fructis. Fructis also has some of the ';waxes'; that Pantene does, but at a much, much lower amount, so you only need to clarify maybe once a month. You could try other Garnier Fructis Shampoos for more moisture.
ive tried fructis and honestly, i didnt like it. i mean it cleaned my hair just fine, but i couldnt tell the difference in the softness. and salon products can be good, but theyre expensive. sunsilk and tresseme are pretty good. and remember its the conditioner thats the most important, so you could get away with a cheaper shampoo and get a better conditioner.
No its not good for your hair its just as bad!! The best shampoos are the ones that you buy in salons I recommend Kenra, Joico, Paul Mitchell, and Tigi Bed head. All these are professional bands and help hair a lot more than generic brands. I used to have horrible hair and switch to professional shampoos and within 3 months I had a new head of hair!!!! It can be pricey but it is so worth it!!!

What shampoo/conditioner really helps with hair regrowth?

Short of using Rogaine, I'd like to know what shampoos really help with hair loss. What shampoo/conditioner really helps with hair regrowth?
Absolutely none. Do you think that if there were shampoos and conditioners on the market that helped with hair loss there would be any bald people? What shampoo/conditioner really helps with hair regrowth?
Try Avacore (spelling)??? other than that, hairloss is not something really many storeboughten shampoos can help. If your loss is due to stress, don't worry it will come back. If it is genetic or a medical problem. Give it all up.
Mane and Tail Shampoo and Conditioner
Mane and Tail shampoo seem to help, and some judicious use of hair gel will make the hair you have seem thicker.
There is a deep conditioner you can use once a week called ';Cholesterol'; by Queene Helen. You can purchase it at any store like: Stop %26amp; Shop, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, etc... Your condition may be caused by stress, have you checked it out with your physician? Good luck!
orange juice is good for everything
Keracare products is an absolutely excellent line of products...please visit their website..(if you have underlying problems them seek the help of a professional)
Try a shampoo and conditioner called Mane and Tail. It's originally made for horses but it does work.
I dont think any brand of shampoo or conditioners can help your hair grow. Volumizers are for making your hair look fuller but I'm not really convinced at all if any of those things really work.
nothing, seriously. shave your head and buy a wig
No shampoo or conditioner will help regrowth of loss hair.

Vitiams and health and a good diet will help better than anything.Good luck.
Nioxin. It is a miracle!! Its sort of expensive, but you can get it at salons. It honestly regrew my fiance's hair! And a lady i knew who got a really bad perm and had her hair basically burnt off. It regrew her hair as well.
I don't think any do. Just take vitamins for Hair and Nails. It's out there. It works.
use chia pets with some miracle gro
I use a shampoo called Naturals Herbal. It has pure melaleuca oil, wild cherry bark and rosemary. I started using it last year and it has worked wonders for me. My hairdresser commented on how long and thick my hair was getting. You should try it. Let me know what you think.
Hmmm...my experience with hair growth was Pantene conditioner without a trim or a major haircut had made my hair grow from shoulder length to my waist within 3 years instead of 5 years. It turned out nicely..

However, stress and lack of certain foods can cause hair damage, as it did to mine...
  • moon drops
  • What's the best shampoo/conditioner for hair growth?

I want my hair to grow as quickly as possible, i was wondering what shampoo and conditioner maximizes hair growth. What's the best shampoo/conditioner for hair growth?
I'm not really sure if there is a special shampoo that really works. I've seen plenty of ads but eh. One thing I know for sure that works is Biotin (Its a vitamin super easy to find) %26amp; try to stay away from shampoo with sulfate in it. Burts Bees is really good. I started taking the vitamin %26amp; switched to that shampoo %26amp; I noticed a big difference.

What do you suggest is the best shampoo/conditioner for guys?

i want straight silky smooth hair. btw can i use John Freida serum with other conditioner/shampoo products? What do you suggest is the best shampoo/conditioner for guys?
it is better to use it with his other John Frieda products but i guess you can. Umm you should just use whatever shampoo for your hair type or use whatever that says on it for men. What do you suggest is the best shampoo/conditioner for guys?
My girlfriend is an excellent cosmetologist and she recommends American Crew for guys. I am extremely pleased with it. It is definately worth the extra dollar or two.
use loreal...and the john freda collection can help also.

    Tigi or Kerastase
if you have straight hair, go with Mixed Chicks deep conditioner and shampoo. if you have curly, go with mixed chicks shampoo (2 x per week) plus mixed chicks leave-in conditioner.
Kirkland baby! Go for the value
    L'oreal ! YES
i use pantene but some times i like to use a new one on the market and yes some are good but i always go back to pantene its the best by far :-)
I have a friend that is a hair dresser and she got me shampoo and conditioner called Biolage. It is HONESTLY the best thing I have ever put on my hair and I have tried tons of things. I went from bleach blonde hair to brown so my hair was really dry. This makes my hair feel so much better. When I get out of the shower I am able to comb it out with a fine comb, and I haven't done this in a while.

Now this is the exact type that I have but there are different types on this site. I hope this helps!!

herbal essences - but it depends on the texture of your hair
Definately something from the salon, I tell people if you're going to buy something from the grocery store you might as well get the cheapest cuz it all sucks. Ask your stylist what would be good for your hair type
    Creme of Nature
    Herbal Essences alll the way!!

Love the scents..they actually STAY in my hair!
sleek look [orange bottle] or dumb blonde [by bed head]
nothing you will ever buy in a grocery store. i tell my clients i dont sell you apples and oranges so dont buy your shampoo and conditioner at the checkout. im a redkin stylist and i use clear moisture shampoo and conditioner. sometime i switch it up with the body full line. it really depends on the type or texture you have.
    Tresemme SHampoo and Conditioner
    bedhead has great shampoo%26amp;conditioners
